diamondsr4ever
That is a difficult one. Plenty people can't give blood for varying reasons. Anyone can carry an organ donor card. Also, giving blood is something you do during your own time, organ donation, that is rarely the case. would I want my kidney going to a piss heed.....nope. though it would probably be fukked anyway. Admin Bebo Posted August 3, 2011 Admin Share Posted August 3, 2011 That would be a very difficult one to administer, I'd imagine. Sounds good in principle, but where is a cut off. What if a moderate drinker needs a liver transplant, how does it get decided if it was the drink that caused them to get their liver to fail, or other factors? I'm no doctor, but a simple blood test should suffice in determining if someone is a moderate drinker or a chronic abuser. I think doctors are pretty good at knowing what the specific cause of liver failure is in most cases. Link to comment

Dandyesque
Check you all having such high standards for your kidneys! If someone's dying for want of a kidney that you were planning on donating anyway, you'd want to withhold it due to their lifestyle? w*nkers the lot of you. Personally, I think the law should be changed so that you have to opt out. Alternatively, take the opposite viewpoint given the world is massively over-populated and just let really sick people die. There's a few candidates for Darwinistic elimation above. Link to comment
The Boofon
Personally, I think the law should be changed so that you have to opt out. I agree. I have a donor card and have had for some time. I could never understand why people wouldn't want to donate. It's not as if you're gonna need it yourself when you're gone. Strange strange stuff that goes on in people's minds thinking it's nae right hacking bits of you out when you're dead. Sad state of affairs. Link to comment

Terrorfex
A surgeon was in the paper last week saying he's going to do the first ever British arm transplants soon, he recentely did a double leg transplant! I can feel the time will very nearly be upon the first ever human penis transplant, would be a relief to get a full 6" instead of having to lug this big bugger about every day! Your dream is already a reality. Link to comment
The Boofon
Your dream is already a reality. Love the last bit on your link. "This medical article is a stub. You can help Wikipedia by expanding it." Pretty sure that's why you would need the transplant. Link to comment
