Dandie1992
I remember seeing that the fastest goal ever in the Scottish Cup came from a Mr. John Hewitt against Motherwell in 1982 after 9 seconds. Was anyone there and remembers it? Link to comment

Betty Swallicks
I was there. When a goal up in those days it was rarely a backs against the wall hud oot job.We could see games out in relative ease. If we were 1 up wi 2 mins to go now I'd still half expect a cup exit. Link to comment

Robbie Winters
Also seem to remember that Fir Park was more or less full that day, how likely is that to happen nowadays. Link to comment
Site Sponsor RTYD Posted August 8, 2011 Site Sponsor Share Posted August 8, 2011 I remember seeing that the fastest goal ever in the Scottish Cup came from a Mr. John Hewitt against Motherwell in 1982 after 9 seconds. Was anyone there and remembers it? I was there. Can remember walking round the ground (inside) to get to our end, eating my pizza and chips and Johnny Boy popped up to score. Davie Hay was their manager at the time and I can remember them putting us under a fair amount of pressure for most of the game. Link to comment

All three constituent parts of his surname are three letters each! You might be reasonable at football, but clearly you never stuck in at school. Link to comment
