Aberdeen U19's

Recommended Posts

Beat Dunfermline 2-0 today, both goals coming in the second half through Declan McManus.

Aberdeen U19s this afternoon defeated Dunfermline U19's at a wet and windy Balgownie.

Aberdeen were the better team during the first half, enjoying most of the possession, but they failed to score with Cammy Smith coming closest but his strike hit the post.

However, the goals came in the second half, both courtesy of Declan McManus.

RedWeb will bring you a full match report later.

Team: Przemyslaw, Duguid, Rumsby, Grimmer, Robertson, O'Neill, Smith, Murray, Fraser, Carse, McManus

Disappointed its away from home. I was at the Huntly game in the Youth Cup last season when it finished 16-0  Should be a very comfortable win for our U19s.

Jutes thrashed 4-0 this afternoon - http://www.afc.co.uk/articles/20111028/aberdeen-u19s-v-dundee-united-u19s_2212158_2497632 :bounce:

I often see the names McManus and Carse in the match reports when it comes to either goals or chances being created. Do these two lads have a chance of making it to the first team?

Dean Carse BODA loon.

Both very slight build. May need to hit the weights. Both have talent about them, McManus very quick.

Have been told by a very reliable source that three of the U19's have been drafted into the squad for todays game ....don't know who they are or whether they will even be on the bench but it's a good sign that the management team are recognising their good start to the season and have faith in the youngsters.
