vanderark14
This isn't a reflection of how bad Scottish Football is, it's a reflection of the gulf in MONEY that English football has in comparison to Scottish Football. That Spurs team would have hammered most teams in europe outside of the big few. Spurs are probably spending at least 15 times hearts maximum wages! There is no way in hell they could, or even should be cokmpeting against that. nail on the head. scottish football in crisis seems to be the radio stations favourite today. Link to comment

Been in crisis for years, yet its interesting the national team seems to be getting better, probably due to number of players not playing in the SPL....... ? Link to comment

I said the same about the national team a while ago but I got shouted down for it. Our players seem to be learning that playing here will not develop their game and they must play in the top leagues. Again, due to the fact that in Scotland we can't compete with the wages in England. Link to comment

vanderark14
Also they get away from shxte diet and drinking culture , in some cases and they get away from the poison that is the OF. a good example of a player who I'd like to see move and develop more is Scott Brown. He'd become a far better player in another better league and he is capable of it. Link to comment
Redstar
Redstar the Jambos didn't cuff us stupid the other day. You clearly werent t the game and you clearly haven't read the JIT from sensible fans? Off yer high horse, we got no sympathy from Preston and all those c**ts when Signa did us at Pittodrie-f**k Herts I hope this starts a downward spiral for them.Easy Tiger...........I'm in Baku so yes you are correct........I wasn't at the game.3-0, although maybe not cuffed stupid, ain't exactly a scoreline to be proud of.Getting pleasure out of others missfortune is something I've never been able to understand? The only downward spiral I can see is right under our own noses! Jazzer_Bett
Well it's something I totally get and subscribe to, just like the Red Final used to as well with the section called Schadenfreude. Sorry-dons fans have to sit and suffer whilst hertz cheat financially paying guys 15k a week with a wages to turnover ratio of 130%? They have won a cup or two and finished high in the league through this and you want me to give them sympathy? As for the Huns well they won several trophies (more than that?) by dodging their taxes repeatedly? As for the game last Saturday the score was a massive distortion, and most if the posters on here knew we f**ked that ourselves-Hearts were average at best and we dominated physically and terratorially until our captain and his colleague at right back decide to sell the jerseys for 2 nil. The Huns will face the grim reaper in November and our friend Platini will see that Hertz are put in handcuffs and revert to their previous state under the pieman, looking to play at Murrayfield. Jazzer_Bett
I know I sound like an angry bugger this morn but I just feel strongly about how HertZ have gained the upper hand in recent years-! Unfairly. To qualify this criticism I support Hibs and United in Europe, and MWell for that matter. Celtic had had my full support under O'Neil for instance but Lennon is a dipshit soIt's retracted. redstrummer
Personally speaking I'd rather watch Mackie over Rooney, Ronaldo or Messi... because I'm an Aberdeen supporter and those other players, and their teams, mean nothing to me. I've never, I mean never, jumped up and punched the air when a team that isn't Aberdeen or Scotland scored a goal. I would rather watch the most abject Aberdeen side... and I have... over a Real v Barcelona Champions League final. It's too bad Aberdeen Football Club isn't worthy of my loyalty. If the people who run Aberdeen Football Club cared about that club even 1% as much as we do we wouldn't be in the current state it finds itself in. But anyway, I'd sooner watch Darren Mackie try to control a ball at the 15th attempt than watch Messi beat 10 players and score a 50 yard bicycle kick. Good post Kelt Link to comment

I don't see the difference bar it hasn't came back to haunt HMFC as yet. Link to comment
