I did used to rate Shahbaaz so I thought I'd give them one more chance on Saturday.

Ordered a Lamb Garam Masala and a Chicken Vindaloo. Just to be on the safe side called them up and asked them to make it extra hot!

Order arrives and the Lamb was as expected and hot(temperature wise), the "vindaloo" had a dad of green liquid and some chilli flakes on top of a beige watery curry that wasn't vindaloo. It was luke warm at best and on the lid was written"g chilli" ..... I suspect the cunts forgot the vindaloo and chucked in a garlic chilli that had been knocking about the place.:sherlock:

Called them and they denied all knowledge, the usual call us direct next time and we will sort something out. But fuck going back there, probably get some of the chefs special sauce for kicking up a fuss. 1 saurons eye arse hole out of 10

Oh and we never got the free popadoms and dips either, the cunts!

Deffo gone downhill then, shame.

Kin Kao (Union Street): it doesn't get the attention other Thai places get. However it was top notch. Moo Ping probably the best I've ever had.

What's script with Pad Thai BTW? Closed down permanently?

Turkish Kitchen (beach): easy. The servers are always a delight (so happy) and that makes a difference for me. None of that moody cba being there type shit. Good laugh with the waiter throughout. Even parading around the restaraunt with my shades on at one point. Cool cunt. Chicken shish for both me and bairn... top notch. Balloon bread with garlic butter to go with it (complimentary salad and bread at beginning also)... get yourself down, won't be disappointed IMO.

White Horse (Balmedie): their pizza was an absolute delight. However had a Sunday roast recently (2 weeks ago) and it was a fucking special bitch of a meal.

If you don’t like animal welfare and your beef pumped with uk banned hormones etc, queue up and make them a fortune!

I always consider animal welfare using the following test.

Is it a dog?

No - don’t care

Yes - don’t eat

I thought Argie meat was sanctioned here after the land grab? Only had it in Spain and Amsterdam as far as I know.

Is it fuck, all local supply.

Decent Vegan options too.

Please excuse my ignorance, I’m sure it was Argentinian beef. Just checked and it’s a mix, still, should just be local beef produced from our local legendary farming practices.

So you’d eat a rat on that process?

We certainly aren’t self sufficient in beef. But the argie beef mega ranches as well as the Brazilian ones would have welfare issues that wouldn’t stand up to our own countries welfare. They’ll mass produce meat at a much better price/kg than the UK.
Frustrating when many fancy restaurants then buy this meat and then churn it out for high end prices, the profit margins be great.
