A DERELICT landmark in a North-east town could be transformed into a bar and hotel.

JD Wetherspoon has submitted plans for the former Saltoun Arms in Fraserburgh.
The major pub chain’s plans, lodged by architects KD Paine, seeks permission to change the use of the former hotel in Saltoun Square to a pub serving food and drink.
The developers hope to convert the second and third floors of the building, which already has planning permission from the council, into 10 guest bedrooms.
The national pub chain’s agent has also submitted plans which could mean parts of the building being demolished or altered.

Just had another look at their fancy website.

Fraserburgh currently has a population of just over 13,000 making the town the second largest population centre in Aberdeenshire. Fraserburgh has a below average unemployment rate of only 2.5%. The towns main industry is fishing and as a result most jobs in the area are closely related.

Aye right. Is there no end to their lies???
