anywhere along the med is good for those jaunts as lonmg as you avoid all the minky resorts and go somewhere more exclusive.

Marmaris, lots to do.

 

 

Loved Marmaris, locals really friendly and it was nice n cheap.

Non euro destinations will be the winners this year.

i once staying in some old fort type place between the atlas mountains and the sahara.

couldnt believe how cheap it was and the scenery was breathtaking

35quid a night including a meal for two. food was delicious too.

Also, has anyone ever turned up at the airport with no idea where you're going? Head to the travel agents at the airport (is it Braehead Travel at Glasgow?) and tell them you want a week somewhere and you want to leave today. Quite fancy that.

Turned out not to be a quiet one and we got Es Paradis, Eden, Ibiza Rocks and Pacha under our belts. Stunning hotel, ned free and great weather and music. Didn't want to come home however I shall enjoy catching up with the huns are dead thread.

Im off to the West Coast in search of better weather. Got a couple days booked at a spa resort in Arran then I don't know where else I'll go. Just going to pack a bag and drive.

Dynamo what about Tenerife, Lanzarote way? Morocco, Cape Verde? Florida? Polynesia like Fiji or Bora Bora?
