How Many Times Has Craig Brown Stated.....

Craig Brown after Hearts 3 Aberdeen 0 Brown, meanwhile, thought a 3-0 defeat by Hearts was harsh on his side. "I think it was a fairly even game because our goalkeeper had not a save in the game to make, yet he lost three goals," he said. "

Craig Brown after Hibs 2 Aberdeen 1 ""It's another game where our goalkeeper has not had a save to make in the match but we've lost two goals." "

Craig brown after Dunfermline 3 Aberdeen 0 "So I can look at each of the three goals and say we've had a goalkeeper that hasn't had to make a save in the game and yet we've lost three goals.".

Craig Brown after Kilmarnock 2 Aberdeen 0 - "We had a goalkeeper who was making his league debut who hasn't had a save to make and we lose 2-0.

Craig Brown after Aberdeen 3 Dundee Utd 1 - "I have got to admit that I think we were fortunate for the second goal. We got the breaks, although our goalkeeper didn't have a save to make during the match."

I normally tend not to let these kind of things annoy me too much and in fact a lot of the time I won't bother reading the managers thoughts on a game, particularly a defeat.

But in the case of this particular nonsense from Broon its actually getting really bloody annoying hearing the same pap every time. Its just fcking stupid as well.

It's fucking embarrassing, as is his selecting players who have publicly said they want to leave or have been told they are getting released.

Why the fuck was Fyvie starting? He'll be more bothered about getting injured now than playing for us. Dont play him again.

Why did Mackie come on before McManus? Get him to fuck

And why doesn't he give Fraser a go wide left instead if that passenger Clark?

Cant believe we've got another year of this shite to watch before he goes.

Good luck to the Commercial guys flogging season tickets in the summer.

If Brown is there, which is almost certain, I wont be buying one, I'll be picking and choosing games.

As for his saying we shouldn't worry, we wont be watching that kind of stuff next season, I seem to remember him saying the same this time last year, and it's as least as bad!

Fuck off you senile old dinosaur, and take your predictable post match platitudes with you! :deadhorse:

as jimmy calderwood's biggest critic i heard him spout some shite in interviews and i mean horrific, unadulterated shite but brown's offering after today is right up there with the worst of them. whether he is beleagured, senile or sinister he has to leave or the dons are tatties.

I'd say that it's one of his most used lines when we have lost a game. He started off with it not long after he arrived, when we went into a bad run. He has also spouted rubbish about the number of corners we had, which in his mind is some form of an excuse.

When he first arrived I found his interviews to be a positive change after some of McGhee's excrutiating performances, but all that showed was that he just relied on his experience of dealing with the media.

Although I was a bit dubious about him when he arrived and he would not have been my choice as manager, I thought that he was beginning to turn things round in his first few months. Now, I'm sorry to say, I can't wait for him to go. He's probably a pleasant, personable sort of guy, but in his hands Aberdeen as a football club is doomed. On the evidence it can't be said that Knox has achieved much either. Surely with their backgrounds they don't need the money so why can't they just pack it in and enjoy their retirement.

It must be the buzz of being involved on a daily basis I guess? Fuck knows.

I noticed we did pump the Pars on corners today.

3 corners a pen?

Fitba managers, like politicians, are programmed to deflect criticism.

I heard Alex McLeish claim the other day that Villa had been unlucky in front of goal in recent weeks but some of their play had been "dynamic". I can't claim to have seen much of Villa but that has got to be a pisstake?

Brown has always spoken about how our fans deserve to have a better team to watch. But he built a frankly unwatchable side and is treating us with contempt by coming away with pish about keepers not having saves to make when we've just been horsed 0-3 by a team bottom of the league, with no home wins and without a clean sheet all season.

We are lacking in ideas on the park, in the dugout and in the boardroom. If this malaise is allowed to continue I wouldn't rule out relegation next year.

The more apt comments should be "I didn't have a team to manage" & comments from the players could be along the lines of "we just don't have manager to manage us"

Beyond a joke is out of sight now.

It's like listening to a kid that loves a joke cos he got a laugh once & now insists on saying the same joke over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :banghead:

Has it occurred to anyone that perhaps what he is trying to say is that, other than the goals conceded, our goalkeeper has not had a save to make? That would certainly be true of at least 2 or 3 of the games listed above.

I would suggest if we've conceded goals, then the keeper has had saves to make.

It's an idiotic, tedious, predictable comment from an out of touch and boring manager.

We will never improve under him.

End of.

After match interviews are pretty much an irrelevance. They have no bearing on what went before.

Take a look at Anderson's quotes in the Herald and then say its irrelevant.

While Brown blamed his side's "slipshod" defending, it was left to an ashen-faced captain Anderson to sum up the depth of disappointment. "It was an absolute shambles," he said.

"It just goes to show how big a job the manager is going to have in the summer. As soon as they scored the goal we just went to pieces. I think there is a malaise about the club, an acceptance.

"The supporters have been with us through thick and thin and we are going to probably wear their patience a bit thin now, but I know we have some good supporters that will be back next season. Whether we deserve that or not is another question."

WTF...are you talking about...I agree with Kev..."other than the goals conceded"...what kind of idiot logic is this..."what he was trying to say"...he's a waffling old beezer who has been well and truly found out as a Daily Record pundit at best...the longer he stays employed the more of a twat he will appear...he is not AFC Manager material...simple as that
