Sitting watching a documentary about 9/11 from a firefighters point of view. I still can't comprehend the scale of what happened - in a perverse way I wish I had seen it in the flesh. Watching a plane fly into a building is scary shit.

 

Anyway, I'm posting this cos I want to hear the smarter posters (Terrorfex etc) opinions on how the towers fell? Its not until this evening until I realised how fucking naive I had been - they way they fell seems so contrived.

 

What does everyone think? Government conspiracy?

What do you mean the way they fell seems contrived? They fell because two planes flew into them and ripped fucking great holes in them. Not sure there's much room for conspiracy?

I'm no structural engineer, so can't comment on the way the towers fell.

 

I will, once again, post my observations on the whole shitfest, in chronological order. Everything here is verifiable fact. Not speculation or hypothesis, but simple, incontrovertible fact. Make of this what you will.

 

* In 1997 a group of powerful American politicians, including Paul Wolfowitz, Lewis Libby, Donald Rumsfeld and a whole bunch more, formed a group called PNAC, an acronym for The Project for a New American Century. This was a cadre of neo-conservative politicians who formulated, drafted and published their plans for 'American hegemony', or, put in plain English, continued American domination of world affairs. Dick Cheney was also involved in creating Rebuilding America's Defences a document which expanded upon PNAC's mandate.

 

You can read the links I've provided, just to satisfy any morbid curiosity you may have, but here's the essence of the document and the 'Project'. PNAC's mandate was to ensure the continued power of the United States, in military and economic terms. In order to achieve that, PNAC suggested that securing strategic resources would be essential. Strategic resources are things like, for example, oil... without which the modern world ceases to function.

 

PNAC pointed out that you can't just go invade a country and steal their 'resources'. The American public wouldn't stand for unprovoked invasion of other countries. So what to do?

 

One of PNAC's solutions to this was a 'Pearl Harbor Type Event'. That would be a surprise, unprovoked attack against the United States by a foreign power. Such an event would galvanise public opinion, and allow the United States to invade the nation responsible. A manufactured Causus Belli.

 

Of course, the chances of THAT happening were surely slim to none, since in the entire history of the United States there had only been ONE Pearl Harbor Type Event... and that was Pearl Harbor. Who the Hell was going to attack America?

 

* On January 20th 2001, 4 years after the aforementioned PNAC document was published, George W Bush is voted into office. His government includes many signatories to the PNAC document... including, Paul Wolfowitz - Deputy Secretary of Defence, Lewis Libby - Chief of Staff to the Vice President, Donald Rumsfeld - Secretary of Defence, Dick Cheney - Vice President... you get the picture.

 

So, those who drafted, wrote, and signed the PNAC document were now essentially in charge of the United States.

 

* September 11th 2001, 8 months after PNAC's neoconservative signatories take control of the United states, a 'Pearl Harbor Type Event', for only the second time in the entire history of the United States, is perpetrated. 'Terrorists' smash planes into the WTC in a seemingly unprovoked attack, giving PNAC the exact EXACT Causus Belli (reason for war) that they had insisted would be necessary to invade a state for it's resources.

 

* September 20th 2001, George W Bush declares a

. At the same time he announces a new American Policy of 'Pre-Emptive' attacks upon perceived threats against America. This is called The Bush Doctrine. Basically America gives itself the right to invade whoever they wish, under the guise of the War on Terror.

 

* September 12th 2002, Bush makes an address to the UN Security Council, outlining all the reasons Iraq is full of cunts, and prepares the ground for invasion.

 

* 5th February 2003, with plans for the Invasion of resource (oil) rich Iraq well under way, Colin Powell Lies to the United Nations Security Council about intelligence regarding Iraq's Weapons of Mass Destruction Program.

 

* 19th March 2003, barely two years after taking office, the neoconservative Bush government invades Iraq. Oil rich Iraq.

 

Were the towers demolished, fucked if I know.

 

Was the Bush government somehow complicit in the attacks?

 

If they weren't there was an astonishing series of coincidences, not even taking into account 'coincidences' like weapons grade anthrax traced back to the US military, or indestructible passports, or 'confessional' videotapes by Osama Bin Laden that just happened to be lying around for US soldiers to find.

One of the most heavily guarded buildings in the World had a 3 foot hole in it where a jumbo jet hit it and not one camera spotted the action.

Trade centre 7 wasn't even hit by a plane...all 3 buildings were brought down by having strategically placed explosives (most likely thermanit) planted weeks before the actual attack...buildings the height of the Trade Center towers are designed to withstand multiple impacts by planes and stay standing...The only way to bring down buildings at free fall speed like the trade towers did is to cut their steel core columns...something a plane is incapable of doing

What about the molten metal found in the rubble weeks later...it is scientifically impossible to melt structural steel with aircraft fuel...it doesn't burn hot enough...thermanit on the other hand will cut thru steel like a knife thru butter...have a look at the 45 degree cuts in the steel core that was left standing...the towers were brought down by explosives not planes crashing into them...ps you do know that 6 of the named hijackers are still alive.

Terrorists flew planes into buildings in New York and Washington DC. Another plane was reported at the time to having been "brought down", though that version changed almost right away. The US government did without a doubt use the events to cover up some other shit, but to say they were complicit in the attacks is fucking ridiculous. Same folk that think man hasn't walked on the moon. Fantasists. Conspiracy theorists can find anomalies in random engineering - the same way satanists can find hidden messages in the Bible. The overwhelming opinion of analysts who have looked at the Twin Towers and what happened in the aftermath of the impacts them is that everything is entirely consistent with an aeroplane with full fuel tanks slamming into the side of them. WTC 7 wasn't unaffected FFS. It was covered in burning fuel and 1,000s of tonnes of debris - it was burning for a whole day before it collapsed.

 

The vocal minority create doubt in a population that is already suspicious. That is all.

Evidence can be seen on photographs of the columns from the rubble of the World Trade Center.

 

In this photo, for example, the column directly above the fireman's helmet shows that it was cut with thermite. There is a substantial amount of hardened molten iron which can be seen on both the inside and outside of the box column. This is precisely what one would expect to find on a column which had been cut with thermite.

 

Experts who have viewed this photograph say that this column was not cut with a torch.
