The Things You Bought Or Own But Never Used.

Recommended Posts

I've got at least 20 films on DVD/Blu-Ray purchased between 1 month and 3-4 years old that have never been removed from the sellophane wrapper.

A guitar that I bought with the intention to try learn. Not used.

Various Spanish books/programmes to try teach myself basic at least. Not used.

Bought a Playstation 3 with 3 games. Yet to play any of the games.

Bread maker looks favourite here...my missus bought one and unfortunately sometimes uses it...what it produces are brick-like not only in shape but also weight...it is in fact to bread making what Langfield is to goalkeeping...hopeless , fairly expensive and without doubt the worst money ever spent.

Bread maker, slow cooker, rowing machine, french cds, condoms.

i thought you said in some other thread that you wrapped up extra well so that some local woman didn't turn you into a faither, against your wishes?

or is this a reference to the stockpile you've purchased but not had opportunity to use? yet?

maybe Bluto could make good use of it, if you're not?

I've got a young Korean family making use of it at the moment and RDS paying the bills.

Would be handy though if I was just allowed to turn up when I wanted and use the spare room. Last time I was over I stayed in a hotel 30 seconds from it, slightly strange to say the least.

would you not find it even stranger to share your own house with strangers? i'd rather the hotel.

Ha ha. Where about spamX3?

Housing market I have always been led to believe is stable, ie no booms, but I would think its good for holiday let's.

What do you do with it?

Harstenhoekweg, next to the Kurhous.

Na, the market bombed about 9 months after I bought it. Lost about 1/4 of its value almost overnight so it cant and wont be sold for years. I had 2 places in Holland, both in Den Haag. The 2nd was a city centre flat, it kept its value so was sold after i came back. Scheveningen though was a premium when bought, living on the beach in a that... It was a false market in the first place. Own fault, should've seen it coming but it was too nice to turn down at the time.

The rental market though wasnt hit so hard so there's enough coming in to cover the mortgage and insurances, canna grumble too much.

It was more walking past it and not knowing what it was like inside that was strange. Not sure what its like renting over in abootland LGIR but in Holland you get a place and can do almost anything you like to it as long as you return it in the same state you got it in. RDS have a 3 year lease on it with yearly extensions already agreed so I wont know whats been done until I get it back in 2015 at the earliest. It was my pride and joy, was extremely proud of that house and I'm never usually like that with anything materialistic!
