I'm not going. Had a weekend away planned for ages.

Will the released players play? If so, are they going to be motivated or even care? Certainly wont be risking any injuries if any of them do play. Hearts possibly the same? I can see another nil nil.

None of the released players should be used.

Get a couple of the youngsters in from the start.

That is all.

Pretty sure McInnes said a couple of weeks back that once he'd made up his mind on players not being retained that none of them would play in subsequent fixture.

With that in mind, Kev's team looks decent enough.

To expand on that...

"There are a lot of good players in the U20 side. You are never really sure how they will handle first team involvement. I think though the more that they train with the first team, the more they feel part of something and feel they belong there. It can only be good for their confidence. I certainly think there is a nucleus of boys there who have shown enough that they could and may well be good Aberdeen players in the future and we will give them every opportunity to be that. There will be a few of the young boys starting on Saturday and a few on the bench.

Can't wait for it. Always get a few headcases up in the RDU with the cheap games. Always want their opinions heard by those around them to sound like some uber-fan, but fact is they make about 2-3 games a season and are comparing what they are seeing to their usual armchair viewing.

I'd like to see a few youngsters given a chance, if anything just to make them believe they will have a fair crack of the whip next season making them come back more determined:

Langfield

Murray Reynolds Shaughnessy Robertson

Hayes Jack Low McGinn

Smith

McManus

Poorly advertised, the fact it is £5 entry - I doubt I'd heard about it if I hadn't been on the forum..

In my opinion that midfield would be eaten alive.
