DandyDon KD
Just a couple questions:Probably a stupid question but is it pay at the gate? Also how many fans can we take roughly? Thanks. Link to comment
Fraser Red
Pay at gate - £12 adults, £6 concessions.4000 capacity - most of it standing with no segragation so shouldn't be any problem getting in. 1 Link to comment
Byrne Baby Byrne
12 quid for a friendly in Peterheid. Jesus fuck. Link to comment
ChutneyLove
Friendly and Peterheid in the same sentence. Jesus fuck. Link to comment
Karl Fletcher
12 quid for a friendly in Peterheid. Jesus fuck. This Absolute daylight robbery. Standard SPL games should be £12, let alone friendlies up in Peterhead. Just hope we get through the final pre-season games injury free with some more goals to boost confidence. 3-0 the Dandies. Guest
Its a friendly........ £12 to watch a training session..... I sincerely hope the players and manager take it a bit more seriously than a training session, seeing as we only have two games left before the season kicks off. Players should be making a stake for starting positions. Link to comment
dave_min
I'm slowly warming to the thought of attending this fixture. 1 Link to comment

Tyrant
I'm slowly warming to the thought of attending this fixture. This isn't the time or the place for BBQ puns. And £12 for a friendly is taking this piss. I would have considered going if it was a fiver or something like that. Link to comment

The Hulk
Friendly and Peterheid in the same sentence. Jesus fuck.Hemmin, I'm fae Peterheid and a friendlier cunt you couldna meet so wrap the fuck up! Joking aside, the hospitality packages at Balmoor are excellent and worth paying the extra for if they're doing them tonight. Harry Fraser does the catering and it's really good. They couldn't give me enough drink the last time I went. I was very well looked after. Unfortunately can't make it tonight, the one night all summer that I have something else on. Link to comment
Tord31
Going along tonight would expect to see the Dons take it fairly seriously as there is only one game to go (and every chance Twente make 10 subs in that match and make it a farce.) Link to comment

I may save all my excitement for Friday night. Link to comment
Guest
Are you going TWL? I was planning to, but the wife put the shackles on that as it's our anniversary. She may love me, but she certainly don't love the Dons. Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
Yes (don't get me wrong) I do agree that Scottish football as a whole is over priced & a blanket decrease should be brought in BUT as prices are right now. £12 for a friendly is ok when one side is from the top tier. £12 for a third div game would be quite normal, so the third division fans are getting to watch THEIR team competing at a higher level in preparation for their opening game (in just over a week) in the league cup. HL games are not far off that. Speaking about league cup though. How come Partick Thistle (being top flight now) still have to play in the first round. One round before all others in top league except those in Europe begin? Link to comment
NorthernLights24
Shankland not in the U20 squad for their game against Elgin tonight. Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
Friendly matches are about as generating money off mugs as they are about fitness (or anything else for that matter), see also Wembley in August.Friendlies whilst being about fitness, are also about favours to the lesser sides & for testimonials etc. £12 is the normal price for a peterheid game, so just over a week before their first competitive game of season & against a side which is three divisions above them. £12 is pretty much normal & fair for them to ask that of their fans.Good money spinner for them & fine-n-handy (see what I did there?) for us because it's close & will be a decent tempo.
