Henry
We'd have to jump from our current 23rd in the list to 15th.http://kassiesa.home.xs4all.nl/bert/uefa/access2015.html Will we ever have 2 CL spots again? Doubtful I would've thought. Link to comment
dave_min
Is there any scope for us to get two CL places anytime soon? Surely Scotland get extra points as celtic were knocked out of europe 14 times this year and still got to the last 32 of the europa... Where were we in the table last year?Might get it when the big house re-opens. Link to comment

The Boofon
No. The only way we'd get is if a Scottish club won the Europa League I'd think. Not at all. Decent run in Europe from Celtic and us and we'd jump a few places. Scotland have a shit season dropping off next season. We make Champions League groups and the tims make the Europa league next season would be a decent return.See below. 2.666 3.600 2.750 4.300 3.250 If Scottish teams are to rise up the rankings it needs two clubs to do decently. fine-n-dandy
Be funny if St Johnstone catch Utd for fourth place & nick Europa slot from them again but be even funnier if Dundee do it. Link to comment
Guest RosemountRed
Do people want Celtic to win the SC so we enter a round later? I have very mixed emotions on that. Could be the difference in starting the season on July 2nd or July 16th. Link to comment
Guest RosemountRed
But anyway, June 22nd the date we'll find out. It's brilliant being back in Europe again. Link to comment
Tord31
Yes mixed emotions. I want to enter the round earlier as more points for us (and Scotland but more importantly us) and I believe it will be better preparation for QR2 than playing Huntly and Arbroath. However I appreciate the club will want to enter QR2 straight away so the competitive season is shorter by two weeks. Doesn't matter anyway in all liklihood Celtic will win the treble. Probably won't be confirmed for a few weeks yet but it would take some arse collapse from here, especially if Celtic win the treble. Don't really want to see Deila win the treble in his first season. Andy_123
I'd prefer us to enter the later round. Guys like Reynolds and Jack are clearly in need of a decent break, and cutting into their summer holidays isn't going to do us much good. I'd also be pretty annoyed if we were as unlucky in the draw as we were this year drawing the worst team we could in both rounds. Link to comment
Tord31
On the assumption that Celtic win the cup we only need 3 or 4 points. Could easy be confirmed on Wednesday night for that scenario (Celtic win cup). Link to comment

Even worse I can see the Scotland Qatar match (friendly not yet announced same international break Ireland away) being fiilled with Dons players as Scotty Broon will need a rest Yes we were incredibly unlucky with our draw all three times imo (although we wiped floor with Riga on paper they were higher ranked than some of the absolute diddys in the draw). Groningen especially was the worst draw we could have hoped for as they were the best team that didnt guarantee a seeding in QR3. Link to comment
Andy_123
Hadn't thought about any international games. Hopefully McGhee's bitterness results in nobody being called up....again Link to comment

Strachan picked a (near) full strength team for the Gibraltar game. He's not going to start picking any old cunt in the squad to face Ireland. The only Dons player who deserves to be anywhere near that game is Hayes and I'll be absolutely amazed if he's even considered. Link to comment
Tord31
I guess it depends if the Qatar game falls before or after the Ireland fixture. Link to comment

Tord31
Europe confirmed on assumption Celtic or Caley win the Scottish Cup. Obviously next target is to qualify for europe officially out right. Small chance we could be seeded in QR2 (we would be based on points cut off of 2 of the last 5 seasons) which presumably the club would prefer but most likely way we will make it further than last year is being unseeded, like last year, but face a team a bit better than Groningen, beat them and carry their seeding into the QR3. The Boofon
Europa League qualifiers are a nightmare for me next season. At work for these two games. July 30, 2015 3rd qualifying round Europa League, 1st leg Can make this one August 6, 2015 3rd qualifying round Europa League, 2nd leg At work for these two as well. August 20, 2015 4th qualifying round Europa League, 1st legAugust 27, 2015 4th qualifying round Europa League, 2nd leg Hope the Champions League ones we're going to be in are a bit more Boofon friendly. Tord31
I'm fine for 2nd/9th but suspect we wont be playing then. Can make a home game on 16th but not away. Then miss 23rd, 30th and 6th. So looks like I'll miss any trips this year unless we pull off a couple of shocks and survive till QR4 Link to comment

Tord31
Not given up ghost quite yet.... Difficult task though I think the maximum the gap can be at the split is 6 so we obviously need to win our last two games and Celtic to drop points in 2 out of their 3 games. All eyes on Caley Celtic tomorrow. Link to comment
Tord31
We'd win the league from a scenario where it's only 4 points gap at the split but that requires Caley and Dundee both to beat Celtic in the next week or so Link to comment
