StandFree1982
Well, at least it's nearing the end of the season so he'll have the summer to recover. Hopefully it's not as bad as feared though. #prayfornickylow Link to comment

TwoStars
Bit harsh.Could have said it better but don't think he's done enough to merit a new one. Especially since he's 22 and should have really established himself by now. Link to comment

Especially since he's 22 and should have really established himself by now.Decent players keeping him out of the side for the most part & to be fair to him, he's not embarrassed himself by any means when he's had his chances.Shows a fantastic attitude & plays his heart out & he's been pretty decent. He's done enough to earn a new deal in my book. Cammy Smith (after all the hype) has been a bit of a let down for me more. Yes you can see he's got some decent skills but imo he's taken even less of his chances in the first team when he's had them. Fair enough to send either out on loan until they improve with even more first team game time & if we get better in to cover their absence. Look at Pawlett as a perfect example. A lot of people would have binned him long ago. Link to comment
Byrne Baby Byrne
Shame for Low. Hopefully it's not too bad - but a broken leg is gonna keep you out for some time He's never disappointed me when he's had a chance this season. His lack of games from McInnes has puzzled me Link to comment
rossafc92
If he's broken his leg, then this puts Aberdeen in a pretty sticky situation. Contract is up in a couple of months. His recovery will be around 4-6 months minimum (I'd guess). If it's not renewed, doubt anyone would take him when he's recovering from a broken leg. A lot of people would have binned him long ago. Feel Smith would definitely benefit from a loan deal in the Championship. He shows flashes of talent at times, just needs a more consistent run where he's making more of a contribution. As for Peter Pawlett, I don't always think he's the best example. Think he only managed around 10 appearances in the 4 months he was at McDiarmid Park. Injury problems were just as much of an issue for him there. Meeting Graham Kirk there, though, is certainly what benefited him. Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
Depending on the seriousness of the leg break obviously & if there are related injuries I don't think he'd be out as long as 6 months (normally).in fact you can be back running/jogging (light fitness training) after just two months, or so in "some cases" Link to comment

Nicky Low is 22 years old ffs, he should be at his physical peak and be well established by now. Link to comment

I think he's a great wee player and hopefully he get's more opportunities next season (if he get's a new contract) 1 Link to comment
RUL
I think he's average, he certainly hasn't stood out anytime i've seen him and that's with the first team and u20's. Link to comment
a don in oz
Never been amazed by Low and at 22 he's running out of excuses for not impressing. That said, still shit if he's broken his leg or otherwise got a serious injury, in particular just a few months before the end of his contract. Link to comment
The Hulk
Depending how bad the (suspected) break is, you've got to imagine he's likely to miss a substantial chunk of pre-season and with that being the case, he'd be playing catch-up even moreso than he currently is to get into the team. I like him as a player and I'd have been willing to have given him another year to prove himself but it's not looking good for him now if this is true. A new contract for him now would be a huge sign of faith by Derek McInnes.EDIT - too quick off the mark. A broken toe's not so serious. Link to comment
dervish
DONS midfielder Nicky Low has been ruled out for the rest of the season because of a broken toe. Low suffered the injury playing in their 3-1 Under-20 League defeat by Ross County at Peterhead.Low’s toe was broken when an opponent trod on one of his feet as he attempted shoot at goal early in the first half.He had to be carried off and X-rays confirmed the break. http://www.eveningexpress.co.uk/sport/football/the-dons/dons-midfielder-nicky-low-ruled-out-for-season-1.332486 Link to comment

The Boofon
Still, now we can release him without feeling bad.Nonsense. He'll play more next season. Good player. Niggly little terrier. Nae scared of a tackle. I like him a lot. 2 Link to comment

So you are saying that Low should be better than Robson because he is younger? is that your logic? I think he's a great wee player and hopefully he get's more opportunities next season (if he get's a new contract)I'm saying at 22 he should be in better physical condition than Robson and pushing him and others round him far more than he is. He doesn't even get a game over Cammy Smith these days. Link to comment

robbojunior
As for Low as a player. He's shown more than enough in the few opportunities he's been given to merit being kept on. Those saying he's not done enough are probably the same ones saying Pawlett should be let go last year. Robson will play less and less and Low will get his chance I reckon. 1 Link to comment
