MightyDons
Abysmal performance, just like last week against Inverness. 2nd should be in the bag, and now have 3 very tough games which could easily go against us. McInnes needs to try something different. Maybe give Zola more than 5mins to make an impact! Link to comment
CalgaryDon
Disappointed we didn't win but isn't a bad point. St Johnstone are the form team at the moment and we haven't exactly been firing on all cylinders. Just need to keep ploughing away it. Good to see Hayes play a full match. Langfield scared me towards the end there! Link to comment
Mr Brightside
Big chance to make a good gap before the final games wasted! Link to comment

Even more so to St Johnstone (regardless of form) & especially when a win would have secured third place minimum Link to comment
MMG
A win against Motherwell on the last day of the season will now guarantee us second place regardless of any other results. Link to comment

McInnes has to read a few more pages in the tactics book. It's all getting rather predictable. Link to comment

a don in oz
Poor result. What I heard sounded crap. I characterised us as limping across the line the other week. Seems more like we're crawling on our bellies across the line now. Link to comment

Byrne Baby Byrne
We are desperate to throw away 2nd. Thankfully Motherwell are desperate to give it to us. The return of clangers almost giving St Johnstone all 3 Link to comment
Tord31
Performance was ok despite what others are saying. Need to rewind a couple of seasons to see what abysmal really means. Disappointed we haven't really really went for it in in neither of the last two games. Draws are not doing much for us in this situation - 2nd should be in the bag already but now we are under immense pressure with Well having two home games and us on the road for two games. For the third match in a row I am saying the same thing - this one game at a time mantra of February and March is really coming back to burn us. Players don't have barely anything left in the tank and no ability to change gears. We should have been rotating the squad long before now. Link to comment
Redstar
The return of clangers almost giving St Johnstone all 3Not so much a return...more of a reminder that the defence is running out of steam after a season of protecting the cunt...He's cost us the Scottish Cup lets hope to fuck he doesn't cost us second. 2 Link to comment
Highbury Don
We look as if we're running on empty and still with something of a ''hangover''.. Seems the fans are too - 10003 there today. No excuses, all things considered, that's a crap turnout.. Too many fans in our fanbase who can't be arsed making the effort it seems Link to comment

I think 2008 was the last time we managed to beat Motherwell at home. We seem to do far better against them at Fir Park. Link to comment
Ingolfsson
Season's been very good indeed, let's not lose sight of that. Five league draws in a row with the cup semi defeat thrown in makes it an underwhelming finale to the season and has made sure we won't go into the summer complacent. But still time to end on a high. Five league draws in a row with the cup semi defeat thrown in makes it an underwhelming finale to the season and has made sure we won't go into the summer complacent. But still time to end on a high. Shows how much improvement we need to the playing squad. We need at least 16 players who can easily slot into the first 11 without weakening the team. At the moment our bench isn't helping change games. Link to comment
Tord31
Basically McInnes needs to bin Vernon, Magennis, Tate, Low and Weaver and replace them with five players that expect to play. That would fairly shake the squad up. Link to comment

tightbreeks
just saw the result. it better not start petering out, there's just a few games left to make sure of 2nd. motherwell getting humped is good though. it seems like a lot of teams are starting to look a bit jaded. Link to comment

That would fairly shake the squad up.Low is worth keeping though it might pay to put him on loan for the first half of next season to give him some week in week out playing time in the SPL maybe at a newly promoted side (Dundee?). Agree with binning Tate, Weaver, Magennis and Vernon. Hopefully Zola as well. Maybe also loan out Shaghnessey if Logan signs permanently. This should provide McInnes with the scope to bring in another 4 or 5 outfield players on top of Logan that as you say will expect to start. Link to comment
