Guest RosemountRed
Jack will certainly be back in for this. I hope McGinn is too. I think this will be a routine win, think the plastic pitch here suits our passing game, 2-0 the reds. Link to comment
strachanmcgheegoal
Don't risk Mcginn if pitch will aggravate injury. Flood and Shinnie should stay in midfield for me. Tempo is just so much better and they proved on Saturday that they'll mix it with the biggest and dirtiest of them. Speaking of which Hammill will be playing! Assuming Quinn is fit (and Reynolds isn't) it should come down to who do you want at Left Back against magennis? Can't believe I just said that! If Consi will cope, then same as Saturday or swap in Quinn. If not, do the half time switch since I'm sure Considine would more than match Boyd in the middle. And do not play GW and put Rooney out wide. Just don't! Mind you, Pawlett was clearly fucked after 65mins on Saturday right enough. Is it hammys or calves that the pitch is supposed to go? Flood has a history of hamstring trouble right enough. Link to comment

Saturday's Kid
If we score twice in this game the second goal will be Aberdeen's 6000th league goal. Willie McCauley scored our first goal against Stenhousemuir in season 1903-04. If I've got this wrong blame Wikipedia and Kevin Stirling. Link to comment

I actually used to love proper nightmares when I was young but dreams like this (the modern equivalent) are fkn awful. Ages since I have tried so desperately to get straight back to sleep (even when you know you are wasting your time) to find out the end of a dream. Link to comment
The Cockney Don
Kilmarnock Preview Derek McInnes did his pre match media conference ahead of the Kilmarnock game at Rugby Park, which will be his 100th league match in charge at Pittodrie."I've enjoyed the last two and half years."I've got to 100 games quite quickly. Hopefully the players can continue the good work we've shown in the last few games. We've picked up plenty of points and it's important we bring a performance to help us win on Saturday. We've had good stability in the squad and the staff so everybody deserves the credit that for our ratio but we need to continue to better that."You're always hopeful when you sign a contract you see it out."Our job is difficult but when you find a job you love you want to make the most of that opportunity.Tony and I committed for four years because we feel we've only just started the job here. You need to have good stability above you, people believing in you, with experience, who accept good and bad."Any manager looks for that and that's becoming more challenging. We've got a strong Board here, debt free, going the right way off the pitch and a Chairman with vast experience. It can make the difference for any manager."I think like any team in the SPFL they are capable of beating anyone on their day. Kilmarnock had big results against Celtic. Gary (Locke) will just be searching for that consistency and we're more than aware of their threats. If we don't reach our levels and concentration we can lose games ourselves so we need to bring a performance."I've no doubt Kilmarnock will come out fighting so it's like every other Saturday, you're up against a team that want to stop you so hopefully with our determination we will get enough of the ball to win the game. We're fully expecting a tough game. They are more than capable of beating us and we've got to make sure we're ready for it."The latest injury news that the manager is hopeful that Niall McGinn will be available for selection. "Niall trained today and we'll see how he reacts. He's worked hard with the physios all week."The manager also dismissed press reports this week linking the Dons with a defender. "There's absolutely nothing in the Ryan McGowan link." Link to comment
lukas989
Wont be able to make this one because Im not allowed - a straight choice between this and the cup game with Hearts...was a toughie, but I went Jambos. Will watch on red television. To be honest - if we dont win by at least three, I give up. Link to comment
