OddJob
Aye and to be fair I could understand the rant, prize money at Wimbledon is quite high and for these 'fringe players' in tennis, getting to 3rd round is quite a lot of money to them. The ball looked out so could understand the rant completely. I'd not have been so kind with my words. Haha. Ha ha you'd be a loose cannon on the court bud Yeah must admit it did look long right enough and I guess that's the problem that the smaller courts don't have hawk-eye. Was just funny how mental he went Link to comment

minijc
Delighted for big JM Del Potro, barring the first set he was superb, quality performance showing off his power, if he stays fit he'll be a big force on the tour next season. Link to comment

vanderark14
Went along today and got court 2 tickets. We got to see Kyrgios for the first time, he's really entertaining. He spends more time arguing with himself and the umpire than he does playing tennis. There were a few trick shots on show by him and Dustin Brown today in a five set match which made it for the rain. Also saw some of the Cilic Mach till play was suspended. Briefly watched Youzny play and then leyton Hewitt in the doubles. We decided to go around the smaller courts instead of the centre courts like we did at the US and French opens. It was just as good as you get a lot closer to the players, it was brilliant being just feet from Kyrgios. Of the three we've been to Wimbledon is the best. Melbourne next in January to complete the set. It sounds like Djokovic got lucky with the rain in the end. He's a fit a chance to regroup now. Link to comment

He's the best young player by an absolute country mile!Im not disputing the guys talent, he has that in abundance but he can't control himself. He lets too many umpire and line judge decisions effect him for too long. He spent the good part of a whole set shaking his head and pointing at someone in the crowd yesterday. You were right about him being entertaining him and brown produced great value for money yesterday. Link to comment
Sonoftherock
@@Sonoftherock where's your prediction you chicken. I was going to predict Djokovic to win... just like I did for the Australian and the French! Glad I didn't get around to posting it, because he's in a spot of trouble now! Maybe he's just been waiting for the SOTR seal of approval! Really tough luck for Querrey - if they'd been able to carry on playing, he'd have been in a great position. Typical that Djokovic gets the rub of the green! Link to comment

Yeah, that would have been good getting to see that.... if you get to Melbourne Park, it's pretty similar, in that you can get pretty close to the action on the outside courts. The third court, Margaret Court Arena, is brilliant in the early rounds- better than having tickets for the show courts IMO - where you're just watching the top seeds pummeling qualifiers.
