Tord31
We are BACK..... AGAIN!! Let's go 85 points as target again as we know it is a total that has won the Scottish title on a couple of occassions. Derek McInnes record1st Season: 68 points2nd Season: 75 points3rd Season: 71 points So quite a bit of improvement required to come up to the next level BUT we have shown in many spells over those seasons that we are more than capable. If we have one bad result huge importance to make sure it's a one off and as McInnes identifies we need to use the January window to bring fresh guys into the squad to help us maintain the last part of the season which has been a problem for him previously due to reliance on a core group of players. Again break down the 85 points into four manageable chunks. Four 'quarters' of the season being three rounds of 11 games and then the five post split fixtures. The target to achieve the 85 points we'll map out as 25 points from each round of 11 and grabbing 10 points from the post split. Last season we achieved the side target of being at least neutral against Celtic and while we need to aim for this again I don't see it being quite as important (will be a controversial comment I'm sure) this season with Hearts and sevco likely to take points off them also. First 11 Matches - TARGET 8 wins and 1 draw - 25 points St Johnstone (A)Hearts (H)Partick (H)Celtic (A)Caley (H)Dundee (A)Rangers (H)Killie (A)County (H)Well (H)Hamilton (A) FUCKING THIS TIME. COME ON YOU REDS !!!! Link to comment

Byrne Baby Byrne
Come on yoooooooooooooooo reds!! All this talk about never having a better chance than the last couple of seasons is pish if you look at it. We just need to approach the sevco games as we do rashellik and try to take more points from them than they take from us. Then the other games take care of themselves like they did last season. If we can take more points from the huns than we took from pish like Inverness last season then that would be a start. Pretty certain the Premiership, Scottish Cup & Challenge Cup are coming home Link to comment
Donmacca
Big factor in achieving 85 points will be the clubs port split form which has been shocking under McInnes but also sure he knows that himself. Link to comment
Byrne Baby Byrne
At least that's the 1 draw out the way Link to comment
GlezgaRed
First 11 Matches - TARGET 8 wins and 1 draw - 25 points Dropped the losses from that line.....a more positive outlook and will keep the less positive from moaning about achieving a loss. Link to comment

fine-n-dandy
Not playing catch up if we win our next 8True but until we are averaging over 2 points a game we are playing catch up. We are currently well below average Link to comment

The Boofon
Thats how I viewed it too. Traditionally we start the season slowly.Traditionally since 1991-1992 we have generally started slowly. However during the years since then we've generally been pish. It's a poor start. Should have 7 points. I can take the opening 0-0 as St Johnstone away is a tricky start. We should not be dropping home points so Hearts was a major disappointment. Link to comment

Without a couple of decent signings all seven of them in all honesty. We are nowhere near ruthless enough to scare any team Link to comment
Tord31
As above we need to fix the midfield in next few days. Would think a strong possibility we'll buy from within the SPFL. Murray Davidson, Tansey maybe Link to comment

Dandyesque
To let Flood go, McInnes must have a few possibilities in mind- we now need to sign 2 of them rather than 1 Link to comment

Has to be the rearranged Motherwell game for fairness otherwise it completely messes up round 2. Link to comment
