Tommy
Hah I saw something about that, a McDonalds and was it a Starbucks?Yes those two and one other.More people support the proposal than object to it.They then say 98% of objectors live in area while only 22% of supporters live in area.Strange how they bring that up when they encouraged people living hundreds and even thousands of miles away when they objected to the stadium being built there.Hypocritical cunts. SheepieBaaBaa
Any more onsite protests and the builders will have to break through the barricadesThat's Gold Link to comment
Panda
Hah I saw something about that, a McDonalds and was it a Starbucks? This is on a different site - right next to the Tesco, and basically just across the road from the stadium. It's a Starbucks and just a McDonald's sign (suggesting that McDonalds will be one of the drive thu sites along the road at prime four.) No Kingsford (or WAEPAL as they are now calling themselves) aren't actually objecting just yet, they are pretending to be giving it consideration before they inevitably object. They say the stadium is the catalyst for all this. Actually, would all your offices built there, and the ones at Prime Four, not be the catalyst? Link to comment
CityCentre
The population of Westhill is around 15,000, which would be more than enough catalyst for a McDonald's anyway. Peterhead has one,. Link to comment

Site Sponsor Dom Sullivan Posted December 7, 2018 Site Sponsor Share Posted December 7, 2018 The population of Westhill is around 15,000, which would be more than enough catalyst for a McDonald's anyway. Peterhead has one,.I don't eat McShite food but just to be a contrary cunt, I'm supporting theirs and the Starbucks applications. It's the same WANKs who are stuck in the eighteenth century who think that they speak for the whole of Westhill. They dinna. Link to comment
CityCentre
I wont go but other people will, therefore it's not just my opinion that matters, that's what the WANKS don't get. Link to comment
Panda
They actively encouraged people to object hence them announcing how many had done so.That was for the drive thrus at prime four, beside the Vet. The Starbucks and McDonald's sign is for a different site - next to the big Tesco. Link to comment
aberdeen1970
I don't understand why people are objecting. There's already a supermarket there ffs Link to comment
eddiec
In the EE yesterday that the WANKS were appealing for more funds basically because their super expensive QC had to do an extra days work at the preliminary hearing and that they had spent a load more of other peoples cash getting some fancy lawyers to build their case in the first place. Not sure what happens if they dont have the money to proceed to the next stage after the preliminary hearing. Link to comment

BitWait
Looks to me like the WANKS are on the bone of there arses as far as money goes to continue with judicial review. Their lawyers must be seriously worried about getting paid in full. All good stuff. Link to comment
RUL
I don't think lawyers are concerned about being paid, they aren't loaded for no reason. Link to comment

Sonoftherock
It's been about 15 years since I was last in Westhill...back then I didn't think it was any more than your bog-standard British sub-urban commuter town. Seemed like a soulless place if I'm honest... maybe you move there if you want a slightly bigger place than you can afford in Aberdeen. I doubt it's changed that much. The way these clowns carry on you'd think they were threatening to redevelop the hanging gardens of Babylon. Link to comment

Tord31
Buried in the Cormack story is that the investment so far (+pledges promised) is now at £8.5M Current estimate to complete Phase 1 is £11M Quite an achievement if we can complete Phase 1 without taking on any debt whatsoever (sale of McKenna in one of the next two transfer windows?). Interesting the other known investors have not had to put their hand in their pocket yet. Link to comment

redstrummer
WANKS propaganda through my door today ." We've done it " they exclaim Stating they have won there judicial review , hearing to be held end of Jan . If successful planning approval will have been deemed unlawful and all current work will have taken place without planning consent Clubs claims the can just reapply wishful thinking Site to be returned to intial state blah de blah de dah Of course the begging bowl is out again City of Aberdeen would be a laughing stock if any of the above was to happen but it won't IMO Link to comment
