vanderark14
Aye, eventually if he keeps losing these games he will have to go. Not anytime soon however. I he keeps losing these games we will end up 4th which shouldn't happen considering we've been 2nd and 3rd all season. So much to play for still IMO Link to comment

So much to play for still IMOHe'd be allowed this summer to rebuild in this case. I mean if he loses the same sort of games regularly next season then his time is done. Deserves the summer to get it right. Link to comment

Andy_123
It's a decent enough generic statement about wanting everyone getting behind the team. But he's probably just shat himself realising we could quite easily end up in 4th place this season and isn't wanting the grief that will come with that. Said after the Motherwell semi, at least he's finally acknowledged that the squad isn't good enough, albeit it's 6 months too late. Hopefully some better calibre players are targeted in summer. V for Vendetta
Its a good statement, the right sentiment and I believe McInnes when he talks about what he wants and desires for the club (particularly since this of course aligns with whats good for his career) however intentions are fine but we have to judge on results and those failures he alludes have hit the fans much harder than I think he realises. Rallying cry? - Aye ok, the fans will back the team of course. Realistic expectations, based on what we've seen throughout this season - we'll be inconsistent at best or bow out meekly at worst. 1 Link to comment
Brochman
A DISASTER!? We lost our best player and captain along with other key members of the squad. He hasn't replaced them well enough but a disaster!? C'mon now, you're exaggerating.Maybe I am. But it is a disaster to the extent that we find ourselves in a worse position than last year. A rebuild can take more than one season and it would have been a consolation if we were in a transition period with definite signs of improvement on which we could continue to build. But the only positive development this season is McKenna and maybe Lewis. Everything else is stagnation or deterioration. God knows what sort of team we will have in August. 1 Link to comment

As it's been said, we lost our best player and others and have managed to just about get to where we were last season and fucked up the cups. Could be a lot worse. Link to comment
Ernie McCracken
Because our performances when it matters have been unacceptable. The proof is as they, in the pudding.RAZOR, come on min, McInnes has acknowledged that very point in his statement. So he agrees with you and accepts he needs to sort it out. Good statement IMO. DD1903
The only reason this is being touted as 'rebuild job' is because he spent so much time wanking off In Florida speaking to Sunderland followed by weeks off flirting with the Huns. Then as the season rolls on we find ourselves with seven loan players ffs, knocked out two cups by Motherwell (Motherwell ffs) and now really fighting to stay within the European places. My thoughts exactly. Quite simply, we shouldn't be in the situation that we find ourselves being in - again - this summer 1 Link to comment

End of story. There's no way he is going to strengthen this team next season, just look at his signings of the past. So he agrees with you and accepts he needs to sort it out. Good statement IMO. Reliablesource
Decent statement I think. A lot to improve on at the moment but still not in the worst position... needs everyone to pull together. Think we have reached a level of negativity that we cant come back from with many fans sadly. Lower crowds next season, McInnes to leave and another Mark McGhee in charge is my prediction.Good post. You seem to be on the wrong board though. This is the one for utter cunts that hate everything about the club. Link to comment

I'm thinking it's from their Facebook likes, but aye - 100,000 seems well low for a city of almost 220,000. And plenty of folk don't have facebook let alone "like" the Aberdeen F.C Facebook page. Isn't there also a population of about 500,000 people if you also include the shire? 1 Link to comment

A big percentage of people in Aberdeen aren't Aberdeen fans. A larger percentage don't even like football. There's also a large migrant population in Aberdeen who couldn't care less about AFC. 1 Link to comment
