Views On Veganism Questionnaire - Help Out A Fellow Dandy?

hi folks,

I'm a sociologist and we're doing some research on peoples' (specifically non-vegans) perceptions of veganism (people who don't eat meat, fish, dairy or eggs). We're struggling to find a good gender balance and need more male respondents. Can a few of you fill it out please? Will take maybe 15 mins max.

Just done your survey because you're a fellow Dandy but in reality, is this the sort of shit you sociologists are wasting your time on?

What is the fucking point of this?

Does anyone care?

This isn't just a rant, it's a serious question about the point of this survey.

36 years ago, I decided to change my eating habits because at the time, my body was a temple.

These days, my body looks like custard in a bin bag but my eating habits for the last 36 years have been more or less the same.

For me, it's fuck all to do with what you eat, it's how you exercise (or not).

Yes, I get the moral struggle bit and all that but Isaac's video posted by Brian fae Perth sums it up perfectly.

For me, veganism is often more about skinny cunts wanting to preach to abdy else about what they should and shouldn't eat.

Fuck that.

I don't eat steak, but as Isaac says at the end of his video "get a steak up yer guts" lol.

Well, Dom, I agree for the most part. Cholesterol doesn't though.

Cholesterol isn't a problem if you keep an eye on the types of foods your eating, even for carnivores.

Macadamia nuts are great for reducing cholesterol, for example, so with my high protein (meat), no carb/sugar diet I snack on Macadamias when I'm a bit hungry. Fish also actively lowers bad cholesterol levels.

Just don't shove shit in your gob, have at least a slight awareness of the food you're eating, and you should be fine.

I agree

Was just pointing out of Dom's 'it's fuck all to do with what you eat' statement

I'be worked recently with a few folk in the early 40's needing extensive bypasses due to poor diet.

I agree with you - don't eat shit. Simple. For us, anyway

Many people don't/ won't understand this basic concept. And then get shitty when they have to stay in hospital for a month waiting for a bypass

Exactly.

Buy your meat from a butcher or the meat counter at a supermarket. The stuff you get in Micky D's isn't meat. I mean, there's animal bits in it, certainly, but it's stretching the definition of meat to call fast foot products meat. Ground up cocks, hooves, brains, and arseholes are not the healthiest cuts of... 'meat', and if you find yourself eating that stuff more than a couple of times a month you're going to pay for it sooner rather than later.

Aye, perhaps I was being a bit flippant when I said "it's fuck all to do what you eat"

Perhaps I should have qualified it by saying that I haven't eaten meat since I was 22 and Ive been fairly careful about what I eat for 36 years.

Didnt stop me being cared for by Poodler's Mob 2 years back and having stents fitted (cheers, Poodler).

Since then not been able to run (I ran five miles every day back then) and the weight has piled on despite still being careful about what I eat (hence my flippant comment).

Didn't know about macadamia nuts lower cholesterol either - the Hat's a veritable wealth of knowledge!

Go read back the thread you know nobody as your whole life is a lie. Openly call Aberdeen fans bigots whilst defending pedarists but spend your life on an Aberdeen site pretending you have friends.

Now read the names and realise youre a fantasist fat fucking loser who tells false tales of sex with Aussie soap stars to mask the fact your actually on the sex offenders register. Now Im placing you on block where you belong.

The reason this horrid cunt hates Muslims so much is that they get more access to teenage girls than him.

These are the facts make of them what you will.

You are fucked in the head. You've given me no names find the post again, it'll have been recent.

No, never smoked, rarely drink (these days anyway) and was fit as fuck (gym, running).

Was told I was just unlucky.

Thankfully Poodler sorted me out :-)

I'm in the very place they sorted you out tonight, with staff who would've looked after you

I hope it's not your name that's been scribbled into the ladies toilet with a love heart around it

Glad you've made a great recovery min
