SheepieBaaBaa
Not celebrating because you don't feel the need is completely different to the very specific act of purposely not celebrating as a mark of respect to a former employer and their fans. We're not talking about whether people celebrate a goal generally, or how they celebrate a goal generally. We're talking about how they celebrate in a specific game against a specific club. I didn't brand anyone a loser. I said it's loser mentality. It's a weakness. I think McGinn has had a very successful professional career and he is a great player but in my opinion his mentality has held him back from being better. It shows in his play in my opinion and in that apology. If he had a better mentality he could have done even better for himself in my opinion. He might not have gotten binned by celtic in the first place and he may have got a bigger move. Who knows. My personal success or otherwise in life is irrelevant to this observation. PS - I'm fucking awesome. NEVER celebrating a goal implies a certain clinical approach and an understated confidence. Specifically choosing not to celebrate because of some misplaced former club loyalty is a bit wanky. I get it to some extent, but prefer the Lewis Ferguson approach. He was binned by the Huns and is now delighted to shove it right up them. I would even go as far to say that I find his old man less odious now since he advised him to do that very thing (apparently) and has been seen celebrating in the Aberdeen end (again apparently). The whole not celebrating thing is a bit attention seeking and wanky. Link to comment
Parklife
It's a weakness.Nope. Being respectful to ex-employers/friends/fans isn't a "weakness". 5 Link to comment

SheepieBaaBaa
If you worked in Mike's chipper and moved jobs to the Ashvale, would you have a wee moment of reflection every time you sold a king rib supper. Would you fuck!! Score and celebrate you greetin' faced cunt. (to clarify....Mike's King Ribs are way better than Ashvale's in my opinion). Link to comment
muttonhumper
Maybe not a weakness per se but most certainly advanced stages of homosexuality. Homosocksuality in the case of McGinn surely. Link to comment
Parklife
It is if you’re doing it while conducting your business with your new employer.Nope. The fact you've just scored a goal suggests you're doing a pretty good job and giving your all for your new employer. Celebrating that achievement or not has no baring on how well you're doing you're job. 3 Link to comment

robbojunior
First goal for Aberdeen. He should have went mental. Using logic used on the previous page. Logic you've made up? Celebrate however you want, or not at all. Absolutely fine. The point was actively choosing not to celebrate because you used to play for the opposition. 1 Link to comment

I didn't see what he did so I can't comment. But if he deliberately didn't celebrate because it was a goal against his former club, then yes, bellend. Link to comment

mcdougall(4)
Here he is - captain fun himself; fucking mcd haha Come on son, at least have a fucking opinion about it. Do you think players who dont celebrate goals scored against who they support are arseholes, or do you think players who celebrate like fuck when they score against the team they support are arseholes? Or are both of them arseholes? Or are none of them arseholes. I could not give a fuck They have done the important part. I would guess that the same people who bemoan not celebrating would also moan about choreographed celebrations... You just like people arguing cos it adds in to your lurid fantasies.Which is the truly sickening and disgusting thing. Link to comment
