How did the young lad McPherson do who came on for StMirren? Used to teach him. Cracking player when he gets chances, but usually missed out for more experienced players.

First half they couldn't get near the ball when they tried - the second half they stopped even doing that. we were playing 30 or 40 ten yard passes between players - watching the warm up and the half time kick around by the subs had more competitive football than the second half

 

It was a good score and some nicely worked goals but a contest it wasn't.

 

That wasn't a game that had anything really memorable about it - The best thing that Steven Mclean did all afternoon was add exactly 0 minutes to the second half, despite a couple of delays for injuries and 6 substitutions

Yeah the last 20 minutes, maybe even the last 30, it was as if both teams had shaken hands and agreed to 4-0.

 

Given the amount of injuries we currently have it was probably the sensible thing to do.

Shinnie and Ball full backs, Gleeson and Ferguson midfield, GMS wide right and Ross left with Wright playing the 10 role.

Ross and Wright did swap positions a few times in the 2nd half though.
