Week away in Europe, much cheapness required, I want to do Warsaw, daughter says she's not going back to Poland, ideas folks? i'd prefer Eastern Europe, done most of the usual stuff in the west. Budapest looking like an option but doesn't excite me, is it worth a trip, anywhere better?

Ljubljana is meant to be good. Bratislava is also very decent.

I did a week in Vienna/Bratislava. They are close to one another and you can get between the two cheaply. Wouldn’t stay in either for over a week.

Never been to Bratislava. Heard its its not bad. Spent two days in Vienna, very drunk,no memories. it means nothing to me to be honest.

That's coz the real VIenna is hidden from tourists.  It's an amazing place when you live there.

 

Eh used to go to Bratislava at the weekend back in the 90s when it was dodgy AF.  Skinheads on the street and guns in the Irish bar were not unknown.
