manboobs109
Literally the first question, doesn't even reference gender. At no point is "woman" or "man" mentioned. It could be a woman and a woman, or a man who wears perfume. 2nd question "man" is mentioned as having brains, who has the beauty isn;t mentioned at all. 5th question is "A colleague puts their hand on your back and lowers it until you remove it. It makes you feel intimidated; is this sexual harassment?". No reference to gender. 6th question is "You reject a colleague’s advances - the next day you are reported to head office for a minor oversight. Are you experiencing sexual harassment?" Even if we look only at the pictures, it could be the alleged rejected advance occurring. You've no clue. 7th question is "A colleague makes a sexual comment to you at work. It upsets you so you tell your mate but they say it can’t be sexual harassment because you’ve gone for drinks with the colleague in question in the past. Are they right?" No reference to gender. If you just want to look at pictures and see what you want to see, then that's your prerogative.Fucking hell, you really are becoming a parody of yourself. 1 Link to comment

Ohjimmyjimmy
If I am commenting to a workplace colleague that she has a nice top on it’s probably because it shows off her tits and I can imagine a fucking smashing diddy ride. Absolute virtue signalling from Gillette here - fuck off and just sell your shite. 1 Link to comment
Ke1t
Saw the advert, and it's some pandering bullshit. When the two laddies are battering into each other, and the dads all go, "Boys will be boys" it's delivered as though there's something wrong with loons fighting. Loons are little warriors. They have aggression built into their biological makeup. They fight, they climb trees, they throw rocks at each other, they explore dangerous buildings, and they break their arms and legs... this is the result of a million years of genetic selection, not the result of a set of contemporary societal principles. Boys ARE hardcoded to be boys. The current climate, even the fucking term 'toxic masculinity' can suck a fucking cock. There's nothing toxic about being a guy, but it seems as though an element of society... the lezzas... want boys to be raised as girls with cocks. They want to create some binary situation where a boy is either a neutered little fag who plays with tea sets and can't take a punch... which they deem acceptable, or else he's the real life manifestation of the Tasmanian Devil aff Bugs Bunny, except he rapes every female he encounters... which is how they depict pretty much every other male. Anything in between is shunted into the 'Tasmanian Devil' category and berated for having testosterone. I've read plenty shit on "How to raise boys without toxic masculinity", and anyone following the advice of these books is going to end up with a kid who gets the pish kicked out of him at school, on the playground, and in bars. They heavily emphasise teach the kid to not channel his aggression, but to suppress it in favour of "Healthy communications and emotional expression." That lad's going to go to the bar aged 18, some arsehole is inevitably going to get drunk and pick a fight with him, and his only means of defending himself is going to be 'healthy discourse'? That's going to only end one way. Arsehole chins emotionally sensitive soyboy, helps himself to his wallet, and goes round his house and shags his ma, and soyboy is too fucking helpless to do anything about it because his nuts are in some lesbian's pocket. 5 Link to comment

Having now watched the advert, im confused as to what folk are complaining about. "Don't be a sex offender", "set a good example", "respect other people" Pretty non-offensive messages, I'd have thought. Snowflakes getting annoyed at it. 1 Link to comment
Ke1t
Correct. Having now watched the advert, im confused as to what folk are complaining about. "Don't be a sex offender", "set a good example", "respect other people" Pretty non-offensive messages, I'd have thought. Snowflakes getting annoyed at it. The reaction is a result of more than just this advertisement. This is just a catalyst. The current focal point of the constant attack on anything perceived as male or masculine, as though being a guy makes you inherently predisposed to attacking women or acting like you're on steroids 24/7. The whole attitude is "You're either an ally or you're a potential rapist" from the feminist movement. Gillette, and feminists, don't need to be telling men how to raise their boys. If we want to let our boys be boys then that is absolutely fuck all to do with them, and them lecturing us that there's a problem with "Boys will be boys" is un-fucking-welcome to many of us. The 'toxic masculinity' thing goes way beyond simple, "Don't be a dick to women". If it didn't then that would be fine, but everything from 'manspreading' (a guy sitting with his legs apart) to 'Stare Rape' (a guy who looks at a woman) falls into the 'toxic masculinity' bucket. My guess is that the backlash is from guys who are aware of the constant anti-male propaganda, and the continual insinuation that there's something wrong with being a man. If a guy is unaware of the sheer hatred of the 3rd wave feminist agenda then this Gillette advert is probably innocuous, since it won't be viewed in any broader context. 1 Link to comment

You don't half love the sound of your own 'voice',Boys will be boys, has outcomes that impact people's lives. When your lad who you've raised 'right' is an incel (jesus) out there with a sub machine murdering people cos he women don't like him. Who you gonna blame? Maybe it won't be that bad, maybe he'll just be a rapist instead. Least we know he'll be violent one way or the other, cos that's what big bad daddy taught him to be. 1 9 Link to comment

Chewie37
Fuckin hell, folk love going to the extremes of any argument on here lol Gillette are blatantly trying to tap into a more modern inclusive society where things like a “rape culture” shouldn’t exist. There’s plenty absolute cunts out there, doesn’t mean we have to stoop to their level just to prove extreme feminists wrong. Pretty sure the Hat reflects current society perfectly where reactions to actions are always massively exaggerated. P.s. Kelt is not a cunt and I’m pretty sure his kids aren’t going to turn into murderers after he allows them to get into some scraps ffs 1 Link to comment

The current focal point of the constant attack on anything perceived as male or masculine, as though being a guy makes you inherently predisposed to attacking women or acting like you're on steroids 24/7. I think you're massively exaggerating. I can't say i've noticed "constant attacks" on anything male. Especially not males who're not misogynists or sex offenders. The whole attitude is "You're either an ally or you're a potential rapist" from the feminist movement.Stop exaggerating stuff. No one, apart from you has said that. Gillette, and feminists, don't need to be telling men how to raise their boys. If we want to let our boys be boys then that is absolutely fuck all to do with them, and them lecturing us that there's a problem with "Boys will be boys" is un-fucking-welcome to many of us.All the advert, to me, is saying is teach your boys to be respectful and that, generally, fighting achieves fuck all. And judging by the number of complete cunts walking the streets, i'd suggest we need more than Gillette telling folk how to raise their kids. My guess is that the backlash is from guys who are aware of the constant anti-male propaganda, and the continual insinuation that there's something wrong with being a man.Again, i don't believe that actually exists. Certainly not in the UK. It's amazing that such an "anti-male" agenda would exist, what with the head of almost every media outlet i can think of being male, the CEO#s of a disproportionate number of companies being male and the most powerful man in the world being a male misogynist and borderline sex offender. 1 Link to comment
