V for Vendetta
Looked far more organised, more shape and more discipline than under Eck. Negatives- bit unadventurous and totally asleep for their goal. As a group you still get the feeling there's a lack of belief in themselves (Fraser and Robertson aside). If Clarke can get them working hard, keeping their shape, using players strengths and build a bit of self belief we'll be ok. Link to comment

Kiriakov33
No not "whatever" You're talking rubbishThe fact that we have scraped a 2-1 win against them suggests that I’m not. The rankings mean absolutely hee haw. The days that Scotland “should” as you say be putting a few goals past the likes of Cyprus are gone. These nations are getting technically better , well organised and becoming harder to beat. We, on the other hand have stagnated. We have some good players and given time Clarke will make us better but at the moment we simply aren’t as good as you think we are. Link to comment

Ke1t
Corners are going to be an ongoing issue for us, we do seem a wee bit vertically challenged. It's our genetics. Still, 2-1 at home over a dreadful Cyprus team. We're RIGHT back in it. Link to comment
CalgaryDon
How did McKenna perform? Also curious to hear how the Killie players did? Link to comment
minijc
?? Steve Clarke still can't believe he got given the job in the first place. His qualifications - assistant, youth coach, assistant, assistant, assistant, head coach given gardening leave at West brom, sacked after a year at Reading, not good enough for villa after 3 months,Year out of work,Year and a half at Kilmarnock...International manager! Roll on the fucking euros.Who should've got the job instead of him? Link to comment
The Boofon
Who should've got the job instead of him?McInnes. For our sake. Fuck Scotland. 1 Link to comment
scottymc
The slating of McKenna on Twitter yet again is ridiculous. He was solid all game winning important headers in the 2nd half especially. It does my fucking nut the total hatred for him by Scotland fans. It’s clear as fucking day our problems aren’t in defence. It’s finding a striker who can score goals. We don’t create enough and we don’t score enough. All the McKenna haters can fucking do one! 3 Link to comment
aberdeen1970
Good. More the better for Robertson.Keep that little glass jawed rat Tierney out of the side.Funny as fk if Robertson keeps Tierney as the seldom capped bench warmer.Tic fans would be raging but serves the cunt right for ditching the national team when he was neededDavie Hay and Reliablesource disagree. Apparently Tierney is the better left back Link to comment

fine-n-dandy
McKenna is a very limited player.Ask yourself ' Whats the highest level he'll play at?' there you go. There is a strong hate/need to put him down because a lot of our rivals fans hate the fact we have finally got a player with real potential to sell for a decent wedge.Hearts fans jealous because they believe Souttar should be getting as much prasieSevco fans through simple hatred of firstly Aberdeen & some also Scotland National team in generalTic fans because of bitterness that we had the cheek to refuse their shite offer of half of what other clubs were offering for himHaven't experienced any kind of bitterness regarding him from Hibs fans or others but have from the ones mentioned but all those fans mentioned add up to a lot of hatred/bitterness to spread. Ke1t
McKenna is a very limited player.Ask yourself ' Whats the highest level he'll play at?' there you go. He's only 22, he still has time to develop. For his sake he probably shouldn't try doing that at Aberdeen, though. Developing talent beyond a certain level has never been our forte. We have a history of limited defenders, though. Look at guys like Dave McPherson, Richard Gough, Colin Hendry, Stephen Pressley, Egg Guy, Christian CHEATS Dailly... it didn't stop them enjoying a degree of success and racking up the international caps. McKenna's a solid unit, and he isn't out of his depth despite what the Weegies will have you believe. But 10 million quid was always a hilarious figure. Link to comment
aberdeen1970
They're only slagging him off because they're jealous. He's only been in the Aberdeen team 18 months. He's doing fine. 2 Link to comment
V for Vendetta
McKenna was good I thought, better than Mulgrew. Folk slagging him aren't watching the fucking game clearly. Someone asked about Killie players? In all honesty they looked a lot like Killie players. They were steady enough but utterly unimpressive. Brophy didn't get a lot of service I suppose but O'Donnell had plenty of the ball and really looks a bit out of his depth at time- kept turning and passing it back because he doesn't have the pass or the pace to go past his opponents down the wing. I'd say they were our 2 weakest players. Link to comment
