Could be a great bit of business this, Derby did apparently offer him a new deal so should be plenty left in him even at 32 and his experience will be great in the middle of the park for Campbell and Ferguson

We must have pushed the boat out a bit here on the wages front if he knocked back championship offers to come up the road so fair play if that's the case, definitely more of a threat going forward than shinnie was and gives us some creativity in the middle we've been badly lacking

I just had a look on the Derby forum and it appears his father-in-law posts on there... sounds like the move was motivated by getting his family back up to Scotland.
