Bamber Posted August 4, 2019 Share Posted August 4, 2019 thought the subs changed everything hearts looked awful with 1 up and hade no control of midfield at the same time we went from a 4 4 1 1 to a 4 5 1 and they took the middle away from us We also seemed to decide to relax and get ready for Thursday and take the foot off the gas we then changed it by bringing Anderson on and getting back to our 4-4-1-1 that worked to swell for us. That and Hearts thinking they had won and dropping back to one up top we got the middle of the park back wel done for levein for figuring out what he need to do, well done Mcinnes for stopping him Link to comment

First half we strolled it but fergie and ojo both being booked didn't help and thought we struggled to control it in the middle. Cozzy had a good game all round, mckenna and consi handled big boy well but 2 sloppy goals, the long throw was amateur stuff. Hedges is gonna be class, anyone know if its 2 or 3 years he signed on for? Link to comment

What's the point of Hearts signing Whelan and Morrison when they miss out the midfield anyway. If they don't want to play Cochrane then I'll easily have him at Pittodrie. Exciting times?It does look exciting but I'll reserve judgement for a while yet. Our opponents today are a good example of that last season they took 25 out of a possible 30 points from their first 10 games and their new signings were being hailed as amazing from certain quarters they were 5 points clear at the top of the table. They then only took 26 points from their final 28 games. But you have to say the early evidence is promising. And we still have the likes of Devlin, Bryson, Main and McLennan to come in. Plus hopefully one or two more signings. Link to comment

The new boys Hedges, Ojo, Leigh and Gallagher all look very comfortable on the ball. We were too quick last season to revert to hoofball to Cosgrove. Link to comment
