aberdeen1970
Worry away then, piss your pants every minute of the day about it if makes you feel better.Piss your pants. Snowflake. Etc etc. Shit trolling. You're suggesting that supporters shouldn't have an opinion. We should just accept what we're given. Fuck off and get your tongue off my windows. 3 Link to comment
Simosmashed my knee
Another terrible display today, we were better in the the second half silmilar to last week however negative football with lots of side ways football. DMC has to go, i fear for another shite season. Link to comment

Guest the shepherd
How did Bryson look today?Never knew he was playing for the first half an hour until when he gave away a free kick. Nothing out of the ordinary and largely anonymous I'm afraid. Surely he'll improve though. Link to comment
TheRock
Didn't look close to fully fit. Perhaps got thrown in because of Ferguson's suspension or perhaps Derek thought it was a chance to get minutes into his legs against lower division opposition. Link to comment

It certainly wouldn't have done him any harm. Would have thought he will be a regular starter from now on, starting with next weekend's game at Kilmarnock. Link to comment

elephantstone78
I just want to see us play 4-4-2 in more games this season. Get Wilson or Main up top with big Sam. Yes it means dropping one of Ojo, Bryson or Ferguson but so what it's a squad game they will all get their fair share of games.I felt we played our best football last season when we played 4-4-2 for a period of time. I think the players we have would suit that system.Drop Ono then, he’s gash. Link to comment
JakieBastard
Strange thing to say, I counted 2 misplaced passes haha, him and Mclennan coming on made a difference ffs. Nah, I thought the same. There were a number of times when Campbell had a basic sideways pass to make yet still managed to get it behind / out of flow with the receiving player. It had no major impact on anything we did but just added to the lack of flow about our play. Someone in that position should be laying on passes like that in their sleep. It's also what makes Jack a good player. He does the simple stuff really well. It's still very early days in Campbell's career and composure is something that might take a while. So I'm quite happy to give him a while before passing judgement. However that sort of quality is why he is in the team so he needs to get that right if he is to be a Dandy legend Link to comment
Torry Tosser
How did Bryson look today?Just like s typical McWinless signing....Slow,unfit,injured and past its sell by....The future is Rosy.. 3 Link to comment
sooth_stander
Well, never saw that victory coming. When we missed that deflected chance late doors, I thought that was it, just couldn't see us scoring. First half was a shocker and the 2nd half wasn't going much better till the introduction of McLennon and Deano, and latterly Wilson, that changed the game I thought. Dundee were totally out on their feet in extra time. was only a matter of time afore we scored. Both Logan and McGinn look shot to me, Aberdeen careers peaked about 2 years ago. Both need bombed now in my opinion, but givcen the chequebook is back in the safe, I doubt anything will happen. Gallagher and Hedges have got a huge way to go before they impress me. Link to comment
The Lighthouse
Got out of jail with that result but it has only highlighted our shortcomings all over the pitch. Ferguson was definitely missed and Bryson was completely anonymous. Ojo is a mystery. Most of the players lack basic ball control skills - it`s actually embarrassing to watch at times. Do we actually believe that we`ll go to Tynecastle and win? Not so sure - they were unlucky in the last game. It`s starting to become reminiscent of JC`s tenure at the club....at least there was a lot to talk about on here. Link to comment
AllyDon
Aye but you've missed the point. Which is that there are important euro and league Cup games right at the start of the season which you've got to be ready for in July and August not October or NovemberNo point trying to reason with a clown like BHL. Best just to point and laugh. 1 2 Link to comment

Papered over the cracks today, that was a honking performance for 89 minutes. We could barely keep the ball and when we did it was a predictable hoof to Cosgrove with him either flicking it on to no-one or losing the header all together. Need to play two up top for Cosgroves aerial threat to be effective and him to not he isolated. Play like that against the OF and we'll get a serious doing. Link to comment

1903Fitba
Gallagher is showing all the signs of an MLS reject. Great athlete (not in the Poodler sense). Sadly the footballing brain of a teenage girl and touch of a greyhound. Dead ends, holds the ball too long etc. Link to comment
CraigHill
Strange thing to say, I counted 2 misplaced passes haha, him and Mclennan coming on made a difference ffs.Yep we agree that against a Championship side he probably does a job.At this point he is nowhere near good enough to be forcing his way into the first team any more than a cameo here and there.Would benefit from a loan and more game time perhaps. 2 2 Link to comment
aberdeen1970
I think a 6 month loan for Campbell where he'll be asked to do a job from the start every week might push him on more quickly. Nae chance just now with all the injuries and suspensions etc though. Sub appearances and sporadic reserve games aren't enough for a young loon who is on the verge of our first team. Link to comment
Crossbow
Well we came through that game with a win which is, given our performance, a surprise to me - hard to give any of the starters pass marks - Dundee ran out of gas and we just about stole the game from them - our midfield today was shocking - Leighs aimless punts up the left wing to no one and our inability to pass in front of players (except when lofting it into the penalty box) particular highlights - but the team for large parts of the game looked like they had only just met each other. strachanmcgheegoal
Not that it’s anywhere near our list of priorities but did wonder why BBC Scotland went to East Fife went to the huns (Brian McLoughlin sounded like he’d been pulled out of his garden for extra time - Rob MacLean as usual reaching vinegar strokes over our malaise) and then the draw proceeded when we were still halfway through said extra time. Fucks that all about? Link to comment

ThomohawkKid
Some madness on here tonight.Let’s be honest, a short preseason due to euro games n not being able to risk extra friendlies incase of injuries. Several players injured during this period also. The boys looked burst today considering most them playing 2 per week with little rest this early in season hence why lack of tempo.I’d expect the tempo to raise from next week onwards as the boys will be fresher now. If it’s still shite in a month then aye fair enough, greet away. Mckenna’s been just as good since he requested a move. Dunno why people are making out he’s been shite. Hurting maybe. Also Dean Campbell is good more often than not, dunno why he’s still being punished for 1 mistakes at 18. Was very good today imo. Constantly popping up in right place to regain possession. Often making nice passes to players who didn’t really want it.Bryson was rusty Ofcourse, but moved the ball well and tried to get things moving, dunno why people are doubting him either. Some good intentions linking up with Leigh to keep possession. When McLennan gets fit, he’ll have a strong season. 1 Link to comment
