I think Cochrane is a smashing player. Should be in the Hearts team every week and kicking on. But Hearts have a manager who doesn't give a fuck about skilful midfield players or even playing football in midfield full stop. Wants physical guys in there to win battles for second balls.

Levein of course is a huge part of the problem, not just him but the type of football he plays and believes in.

Levein has finished below Cathro twice. Could be three times this year. But he got to a cup final so history views things differently.

 

As out of his depth Cathro was as a manager rather than a coach he didn't do any worse than Levein.
