Aberdeen 2 - 1 St Mirren

The Americans can give us as many ideas about making the match day experience as exciting as they like. Unless the product on the park improves it will all be for nothing. Boring, frustrating team to watch due to Mcinnes.

Not necessarily true, to be fair.

I've gone to a good few baseball games and seen but 10 minutes of 'action', spending the rest of the time in one of the restaurants, bars, or club shops spending money.

The worse the product on the field the more money you'll spend, ironically.

Doubler.

The results and performances against St Johnstone and St Mirren are crazy.

I don't expect us to win every game but I do expect to beat those two more often than not and that's a lot of points we've dropped against those two so far.

Points which would have had us well over the 30 point mark

That is the exasperating issue here.

Take maximum from those four games, we'd be sitting top right now.

Annoying, given the last few years, we have been very efficient at picking up wins against the bottom six pish, and at present the Saints are the worst 2 teams in the league.

St Mirren 7 defeats from 7 away, were a fantastic Lewis double save away from taking their first away point today.

Only in this backward country, due to the cunts from Glasgow, alcohol has been outlawed in grounds since 1980,

I’d need to have about 6 ciders in me to watch a McInnes team.

Dire to watch.

Little entertainment.

Says it all about mcinnes that I predicted his first sub before the game kicked off.

Couldn't wait to get Logan on the park.and as per usual, the youngsters are the ones taken off. Deano had a good game today I thought. Always picks a pass and the move for the first goal was started by his ball out wide. Vyner didn't offer anything in CM that Deano didn't. Vyner was doing fine at RB so not sure what the need of that sub was. But as said above, called it before the game and mcinnes didn't let me down.

His subs are usually predictable.

As are his tactics.

As soon as we go a goal ahead, no matter the opposition or venue, it’s automatically in to “game management” mode.

I thought Campbell was rubbish today, full of sideways and backwards passing. Maybe 6 months in America would bring him on. I’m not really sure what type of player he is, strengths etc.

That’s harsh.

Far from the worst.

A defence that couldn’t win a header from a set piece in the first half.

St Mirren could’ve scored 3 from set pieces alone in the first half.

Jon Gallagher was dreadful too.

His first two performance which were good were clearly down to two things,

The level of the opposition - Dumbarton standard.

And the fact he’d just come off an American season and the rest were still to catch up with fitness.

The team in general looks as though it plays with a handbrake on.

And there’s one man that’s responsible for that.

And forward passing midfielders are hardly McInnes’ forte. Fuck me he managed to turn Kenny McLean into Rat mk2

We’re crying out for two things.

1) a Christie/Maddison type no10

2) a ball carrying winger with pace, similar to what Hayes used to do for us. He was great at picking the ball up in our half & taking the ball 50 yards up the pitch.

Haven’t had that since he left.
