'Had to be done' ? no, it didn't.

sevco fans gathering and being arseholes? Immigration stunt? Pro Palestine march?

There is a comparison. They involved large groups of people, who were all in breach of the covid regs. ??‍♂️

Fully agree with you min.

There was absolutely no need for a crowd of people to gather in support of two rogues who were subject to deportation proceedings. They were here illegally, get them to fuck.

As for the Pro-Palestine march, unless you have got a direct interest in the conflict because you have relatives or friends that stay in either Israel or Palestine, why the need for this fake, virtue signalling stance of support to Hamas and the Muslims that reside in Palestine?

Surely we have enough going on in our own country just now in respect of our own civil liberties being despotically curtailed without feeling the need to attach oneself needlessly to a ongoing battle that has been ongoing since the 1940s?

As for the filth "celebrating" their first title win, like I said earlier, this was facilitated, caused and allowed to occur by the non-intervention of the MSP that represents the constituency of Glasgow Southside, when she was fully aware what would be happening well in advance.

Do our taxes not go to Israel for their paki killing machines?

They acted like the Gestapo.

Because sending the 2 Indian illegal immigrants a wee postcard reminding them they'd stayed too long and would they mind returning to the country of their birth within a week would be very likely to achieve the desired result.

It may do min as we pay a hell of a lot of money out in foreign aid unnecessarily when it would be far better used at home.

I wouldn't be surprised if we were funding Israel as they are an ally of ours and it is the kind of fucked up thing that our governors have done over the course of our lives.

The provision of weapons to Iraqi forces to use against the British and US armed forces in the first Gulf War back in 1990 into 1991 is a prime example of this.

So you could argue that we’re entirely involved and therefore be allowed to voice opinions on the street

Everyone is entitled to voice their opinion, regardless of the cause.

You could argue we are involved indirectly due to our alliance with Israel and the amount of foreign aid provided by the UK government to them.

I just feel we should be collectively coming together to voice our concerns of how our own lives are continuing to be pointlessly being restricted and this is leading to irreparable damage in respect of peoples lives in our country (physical and mental health, redundancies, relationship breakdowns, social isolation, etc.).

What is going on in the UK right now is of far greater concern than what is happening elsewhere.

Too many Tories on here.

I vote SNP every time (Greens got my second vote this time as I've realised that a list vote for SNP is wasted in my region)

But I do have a big problem with the SNP stance on immigration. I'll review who I vote for once independence is achieved......what the SNP then mutate into is up for debate given their main policy would no longer be needed.

Typical SNP claptrap.

What do you want Hanz all illegals heading to Glasgow ? (All future SNP voters of course)

Sturgeon has even renamed the Indian variant to April02 variant so that communities are not divided.

She has also countersigned a letter to the home office by various SNP and Green weirdos telling them not do it again.

The letter also says we welcome all new scots.(big difference to we welcome all LEGAL new Scots.)

More virtual SNP bullshit to be seen to act differently and play to the gullible wokes like Hanz.

You've poked your head back up after making a cunt of yourself yesterday.

Get lost you sycophantic liar.

You spend your day on here trying to be a smart ass on every single thread.

If somebody posts craft wankers beer then so do you.

If somebody posts a turd on a plate for breakfast then you post a bigger turd.

You spend your day on here waiting for Rocket Scientist to post so can try and wind him up and get him banned again.

You just made a complete ass of yourself by calling Ten Caat a Tory when everybody knows he is SNP through and through. The only difference is he can think for himself.

@Ten Caat is desperate for the vaccines to be ineffective against variants.

Why would I want that?

I've always encouraged everyone to get vaccinated, I think it's a civic duty to do so even if you don't believe you are personally at risk. I'm diabetic so I'm in one of the high risk groups ffs.

I just know where to read to see what is actually happening out there. And despite all the "open the pubs" chat on here...........I don't believe we are finished with lockdowns just yet

I disagree.  Get vaccinated if you want to. If you want to take your chances then fine,  like the flu jab.

What is actually the script here, if you get the jab can you still get the virus but are immune to it so essentially still a carrier? Or would you not be able to pass it on if you were exposed to it?

You can still catch it and pass it on if you're vaccinated,  you just have  less chance of getting ill.

Somebody should tell Matt Hancock who is a policy maker for the government and is the health and social care minister  without EVER working in the medical profession.

OR Priti Patel in charge of the home office, knowing how aggressive to foreigners (wind rush) she is, and her policies even though under her rules she wouldn’t have been able to stay in the uk when she was born due to her uganda/Indian heritage,

or Dominic Raab who when questioned about the good Friday agreement and asked if he had even read it claimed to skim the document and used it as a reference tool, our foreign minister, that is a policy maker

or Raab again when he was Brexit secretary and said he hadn’t realised how important the Dover Calais crossing was for trade while being Brexit secretary!, policy holder.

At least TC has been in the trade, all depends on the level he reached while being a nurse?,management are in charge of creating policies. Phillippa Whitford for one, nurse for years, turned surgeon, turned minister and policy writer for the government now. Would rather have specialists within there field becoming ministers of there life experiences than just a suit put in a job they have not one iota of experience at.

The evidence is that if you get fully vaccinated, you can still catch coronavirus but in the vast majority of cases it won't then cause you to become seriously ill. But yes you absolutely can then pass it on to someone else, and in normal daily life (ie no social distancing, no lockdowns etc) the chances are that you will.  Because this virus is still not much more than 18 months old, and the vaccines only been available for just over 6 months, no one knows yet how long the protection they give will last though. The scientists do seem fairly certain that lifelong protection won't happen, perhaps not even as long as 5 years. It's reasonable to assume at this point that a covid vaccination will become an annual programme for those most at risk in future, similar to the flu vaccination.

The problem is that this virus is mutating at an unprecedented rate, putting the entire vaccination programme at risk of being useless if even just one "super mutation" manages to make itself completely able to evade the effects of a vaccine. So far we know that the South African  variant has come close to doing that with the Astra Zeneca vaccine and as  a result AZ are at this very minute trying to alter their vaccine to cover this. They reckon it's a fairly easy tweak to make but it'll still cost them tens of millions to do so and it won't be available until very late this year at the earliest.

A third vaccination trial is actually starting next month on 3000 volunteers who have already had two vaccinations to see if this boosts immunity even more.

Correct on your first point, if your double vaccinated you can still be a carrier as the vaccine isn’t 100% effective regardless.just means your 90% safe from getting the worst case(hospitalisation).regardless you can still carry and pass on to others, Asymtomatic folk don’t feel the virus or get any symptoms but are super spreaders!.old people that have had the flu jab can still get the flu, it just gives them a better chance of survival if they do get it.

A see they are keeping tabs on a triple mutation in England, seems to have the virologists shitting themselves a bit

Is there actual proof of anyone becoming ill after being fully vaccinated due to one of these mutations? You do come across as a doom merchant in the vast majority of your posts when most are just looking forward to getting back to normal. Most your theories just seem to be over dramatised speculation that’s yet to be proven right. Nae offense like chiel.

This is, without a doubt, the best place to ask such questions.
