sky news are desperate to create more divide in England with their rhetoric about people now non masking and people attending nightclubs

LOOK AT THESE PEOPLE CLUBBING. Yeah that’s legal, what’s the problem

Doing the governments work brilliantly. Putting all the blame on to individuals, rather on to an irresponsible government.

Has last weeks race baiting subsided now they’ve a new subject to focus on?

Exactly min.

Instead of focusing on why England fucked up again in the latter stages of a tournament, the media decide to concentrate on folk passing judgement on social media on the three players who missed in the penalty shootout.

This time around instead of focusing on a highly irresponsible and incompetent prime minister who initially chose not to self-isolate when he should be leading by example (but thinks he is above everyone else by not abiding by restrictionsset by his government), the media decide to lambast folk who had the audacity to attend nightclubs for the first time in 16 months.

The media can get to fuck as their priorities are completely wrong and out-of-touch.

Miserable fucks on social media, usually shielding middle aged women, slagging them off and condemning those who are doing it. Just let them be, they’re mostly early 20’s and desperate to enjoy their youth.

Miserable,  past their use by date, middle aged woman seem to have the loudest voice these days.  There's no joy in their hearts so other people having fun annoys them.

Watched an interview with a couple of people who turned 18 at the start of lockdown. Imagine spending the whole year of your 18th locked in the hoose unable to even go for a pint. Fuck that.

What's the difference between level 1 and level 0?

Not a great deal, especially the tweaks to what was supposed to happen in level 0. You can now get 10 people from 4 households sitting together in a hospitality setting (as opposed to 8 from 3) - outdoor numbers havent changed (15 people from 15 households). 8 people from 4 households legally in your house. You get an extra hour in the pub (midnight closure instead of 11pm). Social distancing reduced to 1m (was already 1m in hospitality settings). And not really adhered to anywhere else.

Still shitty table service until such time as social distancing is scrapped. Then we can get back to being mannies and standing/sitting at the bar.

Nobody was enforcing any of those numbers rules anyway,  so the only real difference is pubs stay open later.

That table service rule definitely isn’t being adhered to in some boozers I’ve been in. Mannies sitting at the bar as well, pretty sure that’s not allowed. Complete nonsense to continue with these half baked measures. Smacks of a government who don’t have a clue what they’re doing.

Most places just take the risk until they get caught. Accept the 'yellow card' if inspected then change what they need to.

Definitely some places letting mannies at the bar. Good on them - rethink it if the council bust them but until then crack on.
