boboisared
I also thought so. Definitely. He's almost single-handedly dragged us through this season. The telltale for me was the fact Logan spins as Brophy makes contact. There's no way he can make that movement in midair. Link to comment
CammyB
Aye we must do. He must be in the Scotland squad again (under a different manager from the first time) and got signed by Norwich for a fee because he's been average for us.Remember I raised similar points when I said McLean was a fantastic player before the end of last year I think. Hes easily been player of the year for me so far. Link to comment
Tord31
He still doesn't score enough goals which is probably why he's going to the championship and not celtic/EPL Link to comment
StandFree1982
Whilst its hard to argue that coming back on loan to us gets him Brownie points, I think we'd be in a much worse place if it wasn't for McKenna. That and him signing 2 new contracts to keep the wolves from the door... Kenny's a very close 2nd though...Not just Wolves, Hull too. Link to comment

There's no way he can make that movement in midair. In reality Brophy is between Logan and where the ball is likely to land.He is entitled to stand his ground and fashion his body in anticipation of where the ball is coming down. The question perhaps that should be asked is what the fuck Logan was doing in the air in the first place?Willie Miller called it saying that Logan didn't deal with it.I also agree that our penalty looked pretty soft. 1 1 Link to comment
The Hawk
Was the Robson one against Thistle away when Rooney was on the pitch and should have taken it?Yeah it was. Lost 3-1 that day, he missed before they went 1-0 up.Think Robson missed against Riga at Pittodrie also. Link to comment

Andy_123
It was definitely a foul. If it had been the other way round, a Killie defender doing that to Rooney, assuming he hadn't already jumped and landed 5 seconds before the ball arrives at his head, nobody would be saying it wasn't a foul. 1 Link to comment
waldo5
The more pertinent point is Logan has been shite all season and isn't a very good defender in general, regardless of the above incident.. is it still taboo to say this about him? Link to comment

Scotty_Toronto
I also agree that our penalty looked pretty soft. Just as soft as Jones' at Pittodrie? The tie came down to penalties. Killie can't complain. Link to comment
Chewie37
Hes taken a bit of shite this season Shay - but if you're reading (he is - of course he is; wee social media whore he is); I think you're the bees knees son.But even an off form Logan is better than most right backs we've had since McKimmie? fine-n-dandy
McInnes is back on the list for the West Brom job. Pardew is unlikely to leave until the end of the season and they are now looking outside the normal merry go round for a younger manager who can do a rebuilding job.Fingers crossed Link to comment
maryhilldon
I feel bad hating on Mcinnes. He seems like a genuinely nice guy, he won us a cup and he's knocked back a couple of huge pay rises to stay with us. But the truth is this team is not working, we've been shite all season. This summer is gonna be more of a turnover than last summer with all the loans leaving . Link to comment

Sunderland are in deep DEEP shit, on the way down with a mountain of debt. Rangers have papered over the cracks b6 actually startin* to play fitba but what state are they in financially? I still don’t want him to go but he needs to find a way of motivating this team and injecting some energy back into it. Link to comment

muttonhumper
Lol Fuck off You think we are paying 19k a week on wages? He loves Aberdeen, turned down his boyhood club, turned down a massive club down south, won us a cup and broken numerous points totals It's thanks to him bringing stability and respectability that the Donalds paid off the debt and in turn we were able to think if w new stadium and training facilities He is a fucking legend already No, I don't as it happens. SheepieBaaBaa
Positives Derek McInness is Aberdeen's most successfull manager since Alex Ferguson - Fact First Manager to win a cup since Roy Aitken - Fact Not more than a few seasons ago we "aiming for " top 6 finishes - Fact Not so long before that we were relegation fodder - Fact Last few seasons we have been at least looking like challenging for silverware and even outside chance of league challenges - Fact Negatives Has struggled against Celtic this season - Fact Has struggled against Sevco - a less forgivable Fact If you take the Sevco Results as an aberration and and think we were a bit unlucky (rather than inept) in the last defeat from Celtic, we would be top of the league - Fact If the 3 losses against Sevco had been against anyone else, then people would be less agitated. - probably a fact Porterfield outMiller OutAitken Outthe better Miller Out etcetcetc. Get a grip! There is not a manager out there that we can realistically get that would do better than McInness. He's not tactically perfect, but then again, if he was, he wouldn't be managing Aberdeen - Fact Back the manager, to gradually build the team, retain the youngsters, bring in new talent and develop existing. I reckon we'd need at least another couple of years without a trophy before I'd be "glad to see the back of" McInness. 3 3 Link to comment
