Up in the 40s in Vegas... Kelt's pure, untarnished Scandinavian genes can't deal with that shite. Only getting hotter the next couple days.

Couple of side jaunts today, then off to Santa Monica and LA for the end of the Westward portion of the trip.

Obvs I'll keep you updated on all my magical experiences.

we have a south west trip we've been planning for a while. gonna take in all the national parks like Zion / joshua tree etc....zero chance im doing that in the summer. would love to get back to vegas but the wife hates it

I'm about all deserted out... days of rocks and cactus and sand. Plenty thunderstorms, though.

Not a big fan of Vegas myself, though I do just pass a group of 5 Asian lassies who appeared to be having a tightest outfit competition, and that's terrific.

Food in Vegas is incredible, so maybe you lure the wife in with the Sushi.

Can always stay off strip if it mollifies her.

Most carrier bags are recyclable, and that includes plastic ones.

It's as though we all are required to undertake an educational course to determine which biological and chemical components within the composition of individual plastic commodities are recyclable and which aren't, before deciding on what designated waste receptacle to place plastic in.

After all, we live in a democratic nation and these recycling schemes have been forced upon us without our civil right of expressing freedom of choice.

Refusing to uplift and dispose of waste unnecessarily has an adverse effect of public health through the escalation and spread of bacteria, fungi, and filth.

When I worked on the scaffie lorries in the summer of 2017, regardless of the contents of a household bin, it was always uplifted and disposed of, as 99% of the waste collected in our area is dumped at Stoneyhill landfill site on the outskirts of Peterhead anyway, regardless if it is recyclable or not.

I have taken the bin, in question, down to the council office in Fraserburgh and left it there for them to deal with.
