chief_wiggum
Signed for Dundee according to STV news Link to comment
Medw1311
Reports suggest we released him from his contract "allowed to leave" "...after leaving Aberdeen" EDIT - From the Record - "The Dons have agreed to let the 34-year-old go on a free" I suppose it frees up a significant wage. Site Sponsor Dom Sullivan Posted January 24, 2022 Site Sponsor Share Posted January 24, 2022 All the best to him. Good player for us in his first stint. Fuck him if he lines up against us though Link to comment
Big Hat Logan
Ooft, mind when the Dundee fans went mental after that penalty at dens? That was hilarious. Anyway, gave us some great memories and really was a fantastic player for us but legs are long gone and no point keeping him on for nostalgia sakes. Tbh he shouldn’t have come back after Korea as he has had a handful of good games in that time. Dundee though. They are a total basket case of a club. Link to comment
The Gee Man
Big wages I bet, another positive move Link to comment
Millertime
Was there not a bit of animosity between Dundee and him? Link to comment
RED_JOHN
Niall was a class player in his first spell as a Don. Time has moved on though and he doesn’t get a look in now so it’s best he goes to another team so it helps us find new players. Good luck Niall. 2 Link to comment
Andy_123
He might still prove useful for a bit longer up top but his days of sending full backs the wrong way with a drop of the shoulder are long gone. Good luck to him. Except against us of course. Link to comment

Crossbow
Good luck to him - as others have said good player in first spell and knew where the goal was - not always played to his strengths by McInnes who seemed to prefer a big lump in front of goal. Dundee a strange choice though - I'm sure he'll get feedback by some of that crowd Link to comment

King Street Loon
I wish him well. Was a great signing first time around. Really really good. Second spell not so much. I hope the ladies of Dundee are prepared for his arrival. Link to comment
RUL
Great player for us over the years. I imagine he will just commute from Aberdeen. All the best to him. Link to comment
Guest milne_afc
One of the McInnes era greats. Probably in the AFC all time top 250 Link to comment
1903Fitba
I had a lot of love for him (no homo) after his first spell. Him and Hayes etc. really made me fall in love with Aberdeen again. Sadly his shite hair line and second stint make me indifferent towards him now. End of it all I wish him the best. 1 Link to comment

WesthillWanderersFC
Been a great servant for the club. Wish him well. Hopefully the freeing up of a wage for a new signing. Link to comment

torry_battery_ram
Sad to see Niall go but he has been a great servant. Scored some quality goals for us along the way. Link to comment

Ke1t
Only wish him the best. Finished at a club like Aberdeen, and always frustrated with his 30 yard Hollywood efforts that went flying 20 feet over the bar when there were other/better options available, but was a class act in his first spell, no question. thurso
Wish him well. He’s been one of the best players this century id say and left me with more happy memories than bad ones. Hopefully he can come back to Aberdeen one day and get a proper send off Link to comment
Ten Caat
Shame he couldn't have taken one final bow in red in front of a Pittodrie crowd but when a move happens you have to take it right away As good a player as any we've had in the past 15 years All the best Niall 9 Link to comment
