Anyone know (or care) what this was all about?

Going by the AFC official announcement:-

We are in the midst of a strategic review of the Women’s and Girls’ programme at the Club and that work will continue in the background to ensure we keep building on the positive progress made during this period.

they jumped before they were pushed?

Hopefully their strategic review concludes the wifeys team is a complete waste of time and we cut the leeches adrift.

Clearly the club didn't see them as the people to lead the wifies to the 12k average crowds they're expecting them to get in the new stadium 😂😂

It's a fucking astonishing expectation

Down south, in the country ranked 4th in international wifies football and who have just won the Euro Championships, this season's average attendance figures show Arsenal on just shy of a 24k average home crowd (Frankly I'm amazed it's so high). Chelsea come next on just slightly north of HALF that figure. Livepool are third on just shy of 9k then Man U on about 5.7k

The rest of the top 10 dont even average 4k. Spurs, Everton and West Ham aren't even averaging 2k. Most of these top 10 sides come from cities that have massively higher populations than Aberdeen

The Aberdeen mens team can't have an average much higher than 12k for the past 10 years. Its mind blowing that they believed anyone would actually be gullible enough to believe the figures they had in that report. Add in the 8 rughy matches at 16k and the 8 Scotland U21 / womens matches also at 16k (every year for the next 50 years apparently). They must think we were born yesterday.

Had a look, Arsenal's attendances are weird. They've had 4 home games. Two of them with attendances of between 3 and 4 thousand. Then two games with attendances about 40k.
