As for passion and 100% by players that’s impacted by the management team and yes the fans….. Goodwin is not managing much of that is he….. and as for using an Auswich comparison for this, well that’s some level to stoop to truly is…. It is unfair to say he's a downgrade at this stage. McInnes was great for us in his first five years, that is true, but he also inherited a perfect storm, where he was up against the weakest Scottish top flight playing field in history and had, by some margin, the third biggest budget annually. It is telling that, in addition to the natural law of diminishing returns, once the playing field strengthened and the advantages he inherited dissipated, we went backwards. Had he stayed, we'd likely have struggled to make the Top 6 this year. On the other hand, Goodwin has inherited a horrendous mess, the magnitude of which will require until January - including two full transfer windows, with the kind of backing McInnes had in his early days - to sort out. Whether he does or not, only time will tell, but he deserves that much. Link to comment

They then won 3 on the bounce before going 11 games and 3 and a half months without a win and were sitting with 3 wins from their first 21 games. Then went on a little streak again end of January with 4 wins out of 5 (including surprise, surprise beating us again) and that little run is what basically got him the job at Pittodrie. Its just fucking unbelievable. Link to comment

Is he the guy that used to appear on the here we go podcast? There’s a saying that history doesn’t repeat itself but it does rhyme. Our current plight certainly resembles Hibs when they were relegated. on the plus side, ticket prices must be lower in the championship and we will get to visit lots of new interesting Scottish towns. For sure, at least once, anyone old enough to remember our title winning game at Easter Road in 1980 will also probably remember Hibs were bottom by that time and already down. We would have been a much more desirable prospect for a decent manager prior to the appointment of Glass. Now we're scraping around for the dregs of the managerial merry-go-round. Sadly Goodwin is not and never has been the man to take us forward. Link to comment

Michael Grant also did a Podcast with Graham Spiers yesterday, more or less regurgitated what he said in his Times piece but you get the impression he's not a fan of Cormack. One thing he did enforce though was this McInnes rubbish, and the "be careful what you wish for" nonsense that the SMSM peddle. He made it clear to Spiers that, as we all know, McInnes himself wanted out at the end of last season. Link to comment
