5 kids.we.were.mostly left to do our own thing even at a young age .

Not so much a funny name but more a funny pronunciation of a name.

Used to work for a Company with a chap called Willie Duguid (pronounced Jookit, or thereby, in these parts).

Someone came in to the trade counter one day and asked to speak to Willie "Dugweed".

Sure there are plenty of other mispronounciations via members of the hat.
