I remember reading about some stuff going on in ‘66 around the semi final with Portugal, and about how the South American sides in particular were on the end of dodgy decisions.

Not to mention the “goal” in the final that didn’t cross the line.It was all geared up for a home win.

Yet, they think they are a world football superpower.At least both France and Spain won a World Cup then followed it up by winning the next Euros.
