I get fuck all, just tell everyone not to get me anything as I can’t be fucked. A card from the kids and I’m happy enough.

Incidentally I was out for lunch with my daughters on my birthday and my youngest (11) offered to pay for it with her Go Henry card. Like I was going to let that happen!

I never understand those Go Henry cards - they charge you money to let your kids have a bank account. Why not just open a normal bank account, for feck all, they have a card, access to it, you can control the money going in etc. Just some idle musing.

I normally get a bottle of malt at birthdays from family, plus a "humorous" tshirt form the inlaws, straight to charity shop

Because I don’t think you are allowed to use switch until you’re 16 (might be wrong)

Anyway it’s fuck all to do with me, my ex set it up but it is handy that I can fire money onto their cards for them.

Best - wife bought me set of Ping irons for my 40th a good few moons a go.

Worst - mother bought me a yellow tank top when I was early 20's. Never wore it once. Don't like tank tops, don't like yellow. Dopey cow always had the habit of buying me things she liked!!

It’s basically a debit card that you can put money on it’s not connected to their bank account so they can’t go fucking radio rental and wipe out their account.

I got a football not all that long ago with a short but touching message written on it. Made me cry. That's probably the best one.

Can't think of any bad ones. I'm grateful for any gift someone gives me as it shows they care.

I today received chocolates from the maid, and some fucking weird hand crafted ornament thing.

Genuinely could be the worst present I've ever ever received, but I was thankful all the same.
