Picked up this one on a discounter site. Still not cheap mind you, but worth it. Old school fougere vibes not too dissimilar to TF Beau de Jour but with a pronounced clove note.

Sauvage - Can’t stand the EDT but the EDP is OK. But Eau Sauvage is much better. 
 

Bleu De Chanel - Parfum is the best.

Tom Ford fragrances are good but too expensive (says the person who just spunked a few hundred on Amouage).

Depends how much you use it. A £150 bottle you finish is better value then a £50 bottle that sits at the back of your cupboard gathering dust. If you only get through one 100ml bottle every 2-3 years it’s not that expensive. 

Still, unless you’re enthusiast and into stuff like oud (which is very expensive, literally wort its weight in gold) then you don’t need to spend stupid money. Even overpriced stuff like Creed can be found at TK Maxx and there are websites where you can buy decants (basically a large bottle split between multiple people).
