Stirling Albion 1 - 2 Aberdeen

Springkerse View is very handy but could be absolutely mobbed. Took ages to get served before the game last year. Double, triple rounds would be a plan.

Other option is drinking in the town and getting a taxi out to the ground, or just do the 25 minute walk.

There is a shuttle bus from the centre to the Park & Ride at Springkerse but the last bus looks to be at 6.30pm, so not great.

Cold Beer Company or Molly Malones would be the decent sized pub options in town and at the right side of the town for the taxi rank.

Also Kilted Kangaroo, City Walls, No.2 Baker Street and Crossed Peels (Wetherspoons) but all further from the taxis. The taxi rank could be mobbed too though!

For Springkerse View just sit outside with a carry out, save queueing.

Ticket bought. Any good pubs to go before the game?

You’ve to walk over the bridge but I had a good wee drink in the Curly Coo last time with a few Dandies

Its a quality whisky bar

Nicky Tams is another great pub but they don’t allow football colours in

Take it you're local? 😄

Thanks for all the info. Hopefully be a good atmosphere in some of these pubs now we've sold out

Aye, stay in Stirling.

As Frank says, the ground is easily walkable from the town unless you're a lazy bugger like me.

Aye, me as well, it's 30 mins from any of the boozers in the centre. I'm in with the locals for the game... Supporting the team in red and white! 😎

The club only ever announced we were getting the side stand and south stand behind the goals. Pretty sure when we played there in the cup last year they didn't open either end behind the goals.

Seems odd not to if the demand is there?

Nae just employ some plum to stand and check people's tickets, not exactly difficult.

Nope, ground belongs to the council, and there are health and safety regulations about managing stadium access, so out of their hands. The issue was on one side of the ground, not sure if it was sorted.
