I brought this up the other day at work and it went down like a lead balloon. Makes sense to me though. Marry me aka “I’ll bet you half of all my worldly possessions and assets that we will like each other forever”.

What I didna realise is how far in advance stuff gets booked up.

Looking at venues last night and even this time next year is already booked at some of them.

I have been with my second wife for 24 years, with absolutely no regrets.

Married too young first time around, which I would respectfully alert any prospective couple to consider before tying the knot.

Suspect that a health proportion of the reported 42% of marriages that end in divorce fall in to the "married too young " category.

Many places and photographers book up 3 years in advance. 

Word of advice...keep a spreadsheet.
