Need 3 points from this one with Hearts away (where we never win) the next game after it or there's a pretty good chance we'll be bottom of the league after 5 games.

Still not a must win game though according to some.

Home games are all ‘must win’ any other attitude & they should fk off to support the ladies team

Agreed all home games especially domestically should be must win, away games should be also seen as must not lose with drawing as many as we can't win.  The only way we'll get 3rd clear of anyone else.

Sometimes I wonder if I've drifted into Jambo Kickback by mistake

But we aren't a yo-yo club, we're a rollercoaster club

Enjoy the ride

Nah not a yoyo or a rollercoaster. We are just a nice safe bench. Doing nothing. Now and then folk will sit on us and sometimes we’ll get vandalised but we’ll always be there…. Just being a bench

Home games against teams with 10x our budget are 'must win'?

yes against Celtic and Rangers.  Look im not an idiot and i know that in 4 games against both at home we might get a win and a draw at best but we should have the attitude of going for it as one off games.  Over a season obviously they are going to be well ahead of everyone.  In europe it will be a different story, even the OF struggle there.

They aren't 'must win' games though, are they?  Their sides are made up of players that cost £3/4m and earn £20k a week.

Why should a home game v them be viewed differently than a cup game? Especially a home cup game.

Or do you not view cup games v them as ‘must win’ just because it’s ‘them’?

Attitude is everything & yours suck balls imo if you don’t think we should treat any domestic home game (& cup game) as a ‘must win’

I don't think you know what 'must win' means.

I would say same for you. As you appear to think it means life or death.

Home games ‘domestically’ are just like cup games. ‘Must win’ anything else is a massively negative result. This is our house. Should be treated just like a knock out/cup game.

you can keep your happy clap mediocrity feelings to yourself.

Those figures are complete drivel

Are they?

just checked flash score and they had us beating Celtic away in 2018

0-1 considine(to beat the Huns to second)

2-1 winners 2016 (Hayes,church)

2-1 winners 2015(rooney,Quinn)

2-1 winners 2014(Hayes,rooney)

1-2 winners 2014(anderson,pawlett)

till 2011. So in 12 years we have won 5 against them.

Was the hun one I was replying to - we've beaten either version a lot more than 3 times at Pittodrie in last 50 games.

from our own AFC site

SPL won 5 drew 5 lost 43

the record is that bad!!!

(my original point was that in no way can we expect to beat them cunts every time at home as F and D suggested we should given those stats)

edit to say this article from AFC was from the 30th January 2016, so the record is worse now.

Did I say we should ‘expect’ to beat them? Nae sure a did. I think I’m speaking about general attitudes/approaches to games at home. 🤔

ALL home games/cup games should be treated as ‘must win’ it’s that simple.

attitude is important. Something all the lesser sides have easily figured v us for example when we visit their grounds 🤷

Why Fkn bother otherwise?
