I bet you they don't.

You think season tickets will be valid.I hope so.I just think in accepting home venue the club will try to make money from the game.Season ticket holders are exactly the people likely to be interested in this game.Tickets are £12 and £6 concessions.Quite expensive to watch an Aberdeen XI.

Pleasantly surprised this match is taking place.Living beside Pittodrie, Aberdeen took part in all kinds of Leagues and competitions and all the games were played at Pittodrie.Premier Reserve League Saturday, Reserve League East (third team) Monday night.Aberdeenshire Cup,Youth Cup,local Junior Cup finals, game every other night in addition to all first team league, cup, friendlies.Great for a football fanatic like me.Then after a Scotland rugby match damaged the pitch an arsehole groundsman Paul Fiske declared Pittodrie could not host extra games and we hardly saw non first team games at Pittodrie again and Aberdeen would go  to opponents ground always regardless of Aberdeenshire Cup and Shield draw. The club will charge  fans including season ticket holders on Wednesday night. That is how they work, charged for Youth Cup and SPFL Trophy B team challenge cup ties.A season ticket at Aberdeen football club is not a season ticket,it is 18 League matches and you have to pay for additional cup matches . Peterhead issue a proper season ticket that includes all cup ties.

Will this be purely the under 18 team or will we see the likes of Williams and Dadia make an appearance?

An Aberdeen XI,so will include senior players coming back from injury and others seeking to stake a place in Barry Robson's Aberdeen team.

They are ! I can read Dave Cormack and Aberdeen football club like a book.Main Stand open, half to Aberdeen support, half to Fraserburgh.£12 tickets and £6 concessions available. No mention or acknowledgement whatsoever that people have season tickets and this is exactly the type of match that years gone by would have been free and season tickets valid.Having climbed into Kynoch Park, Keith via the old fire station the other week for an entertaining Keith 2 v Fraserburgh 2,the Broch are not worth £12 to see playing.Anybody that buys a ticket and pays £12 is a mug.Highland League,Juniors still only worth a fiver.Cove and Banks o' Dee and their cheap and nasty carpet artificial pitches have even less appeal, wouldn't go to these grounds if I was paid a fiver !!

Peterhead are the exception. Not aware of any clubs that offer that these days.

You get 19 home games usually so hope that helps you feel a little less hard done by.

Several clubs offer a proper season ticket.19 games,I forgot about the split, Scottish football being a League so well organised it cannot even offer a full fixture list .The Aberdeen football club season ticket nowadays is a fucken rip off compared to what it once represented.Several clubs also offered free tickets and easy refunds on season tickets during the pandemic.Aberdeen football club gave season ticket holders over the pandemic a free ticket for Saturday Scottish Cup tie with Edinburgh City !! Says it all. 19 games for nearly £500.aye Dynamo it's a bargain really !! People renew because they love football and that is what they look forward to each weekend and they have a good seat they want to keep. The club know that and exploit said fans to the full.

The club charging season ticket holders for the Broch game is a disgrace. Add to that , that for the three home European ties l had to move my seat as certain seats were required by UEFA. When l arrived last Thursday the entire row my season ticket is in was empty and remained empty throughout the game.

I often now think now how well the club was run and how efficient and fair it was when I first started going to Pittodrie. You had secretary IanTaggart and a tiny office staff. They managed fine, introduced the voucher system and if you were a keen fan that attended games you got a ticket for Bayern Munich no problem. In these days board members Dick Donald,Ian Donald,Chris Anderson were former Aberdeen players and genuine football people. That is how Alex Ferguson got on so well with them The club now is run by a spiv in Dave Cormack .He expects the council to be ' collaborative ' and build him the Cormack Community Stadium at the beach.Little does Mr Cormack know the entire Aberdeen City Council can see him far enough and have no time for him whatsoever. They might speak politely in the P&J but that is how Dave Cormack is regarded.A fucken chancer. He does not declare transfer fees because he does not pay a great deal.Amazes me that so many fellow Aberdeen fans I otherwise get on well with, cannot see through Dave Cormack .Good news though,we will be at Pittodrie for many years to come and have a nice training ground out beside Westhill at the Aberdeen Football Club Training Centre !!

100% + don't forget the Milne years either.

Chris Anderson would be devastated at what the club has become, had he not passed too early.

Now that man knew how to run a club.

Come on min, the commercial aspect of football has changed beyond recognition since the early 1980's, you cannot compare them to now.

I also do not see why the club- a private business - should expect the Council to provide anything other than possibly the land to allow a new stadium to be built. The funding of the build should be the responsibility of the club and their backers. I also find it strange, whilst acknowledging the creation of the Fergie statute , the club have not renamed the south stand the “Sir Alex Ferguson stand” I would also rename the Merkland Road Stand “The Chris Anderson Stand” to recognise the people who truly made Aberdeen the success that we were.

Chris Anderson was a very special man.I was very pleased when Linksfield was named after him and I still call it the Chris Anderson Stadium at Linksfield.Aberdeen Sports Village or even ASV , not quite the same !

Yes,Dave Cormack talks some utter drivel about the council.I an sure if he applied to spend his own supposed millions on a new stadium at Beach Links the council would have given him a clear run.But he has no intention of spending his own money on a new ground.it's all 'collabritivally' and 'holistic' approach. He talks nonsense and his interview and crocodile tears at the Hibs Jim Goodwin denouement was  both hilarious and pathetic in equal measure.......Yes,it is strange the South Stand, Main Stand,Merkland Red Shed End have never been named after Chris Anderson, Teddy Scott,or famous former players.

These guys were miles ahead at the time and would have stayed ahead.  A great forward thinking board.  Oh to be in that position again.

At Aberdeen in the 1980s apart from football the club was run by men of standing and integrity. They chose each manager and allowed them to manage without interference or trying to hog the limelight every two minutes. The creation of various jobs and positions has messed things up.It cannot be easy for any honest football person like Barry Robson to manage and run the club entirely how he would like to.And I bet other experienced managers have looked at Aberdeen's structure and frankly have run a mile.A club where each summer the manager is given a job lot of occasional good players, duds and players he has previously never heard of.It certainly is a different game now !
