Ramandu
Big game coming up tomorrow. Anything better than a 2-0 loss means winning the group is in our hands (just need to beat Norway & Georgia). Spain will be fired up for this, but I'm not sure that will help them. I fancy us to see very little of the ball, and spend most of the game defending our box, but find a way to score and draw/lose by one. 1 Link to comment

Parklife
I like your optimism, Ramandu. I do not share it though. I would absolutely bite your hand off for a 1 goal defeat. Link to comment
Andy_123
Can't see us getting anything from this one (although I said that about the last Spain game). Tierney out injured is huge. Him missing totally fucks up the 3-5-2 / 5-3-2 formation that has worked so well for us under Clarke. Hope McTominay levels that Rodri cunt Link to comment

Ramandu
Oh ye of little faith. We're amazing, and can mix it with the big boys now. We're not getting pumped (may only have 20% possession though). 1 Link to comment

It’s amazing to see how far you guys have fallen, it’s barely 10-years since you were World and European Champions. At least you’ll get to see Scott McTominay play. Link to comment
ericblack4boss
I've said right from the draw being made I fancy us to get at least a point in Spain, I stand by that. 2 Link to comment

Unless he’s injured himself in the last 2 days, nothing in it alludes to him not playing, although I do get the source is utter pish. Link to comment

GAME OF BILLIONS
Norway v Spain on Sunday is the Big One for Spain and Norway. Pressure is on Spain and they could get desperate in these two matches. Nations League Final of Spain v Croatia was nothing special... I'd still rate Croatia as the better team overall, they are much more consistent. I reckon that Holland would have beat Spain in 90 minutes had they been in the final, Croatia demolished them. It will be a better Spain side we face, but I'm not worried about it, which is a rarity at this stage in qualifying for Scotland. The France friendly will be interesting. We should comfortably win against Georgia, probably less so against Norway, they defend well and Blonde Frankenstein will be sniffing about. He'll up his game big time against Spain, I reckon. They can't qualify through the playoffs so they'll have to be impressive. We should play Belgium and/or Austria in a friendly before the Euros, if that's possible. No weak sauce friendlies like in 2021 against Luxembourg and... Holland, LOL! We need to make a really good dent in the Euros and go into the World Cup qualifiers and Nations League A (which helps decide the second-placed World Cup playoffs) as top seeds for once. Then power on to Yankland to face Angola, Paraguay and Thailand! Link to comment

GAME OF BILLIONS
If Israel's remaining fixtures get scrapped due to the war, then that could hand someone else a place in the playoffs. Depending how various matches play out, it could end up being pretty chaotic for UEFA. Israel's group Nations League standing It could end up being Armenia or Sweden in Israel's place. The schedule got screwed up due to the winter World Cup. I think it will be a better schedule from now on. But the way it is set up by FIFA/UEFA, you could perform badly in the Nations League then have to REALLY play great in the World Cup qualifiers, which will be intense as fuck anyway. We'll have to wait and see who Scotland get in the Nations League. The draw is on Thursday 8th February in Paris. Hopefully, it's Poland, Switzerland, Denmark! 1 Link to comment
shut up meg
I think that Norway might struggle tomorrow night in Cyprus. A draw there would see us qualify ( I think). Link to comment
