Poodler
Went to see Dandy Warhols last night. bassist bird has bloody lovely fat tits. Singer was a bit of an Anton Newcombe - took himself a bit too seriously. Was alright. Link to comment
Clydeside_Sheep
Was at Kula Shaker this evening, had a good time. I thought it would be good, but it was better than I expected. The swg3 hall they had was better than the Zutons one, as it didn't have the pillars in front of the stage. They waited till the very end to play Govinda, which was excellent - funny to hear pissed weegies singing in sanskrit! Had a few pints at Patrick Cross before it, and a munch in German Doner Kebab. Great stuff! Link to comment

Saw them play in Inverness a few years back, decent for a Scottish themed piss up. Link to comment

Bad Manners first band I ever saw live. Aberdeen Venue, was a bit underage, 14 maybe. Was fucking magic. Special Brew, Buster Bloodvessel was tonguing a metal pail of water with his gimumgus tongue, then hoyed it over the moshpit. Which was a pleasant experience. Link to comment

muttonhumper
Only gig I'll be at this year (present planning), will be ATEOTS in Brighton, August. David Gedge festival, so obvs Wedding Present and Cinerama playing, but this time also probably the best band in musical history, Close Lobsters. Also Miki from Lush, Spare Snare and some others. At Concorde 2, right on the beach, brilliant venue been 4 or 5 times before, should be marvellous. Link to comment

Only the 2nd time I will have ever been in the Garage - and both times for gigs. After the O2 ABC burned down, AC/DC Livewire switched their annual show to the Classic Grand for a few years, but it wasnt a great venue. There was always trouble at it (fights in crowd or throwing stuff at the band) so last time they played the QM Union and it was much better. Really miss the O2 ABC, as a cinema and also a venue. Have good student memories of the attic indie bit in the garage. Enjoy the gig. Yeah abc is sorely missed as a gig venue. Supergrass on the night of the qots semi final tragedy was a particular highlight. Link to comment
cheesepipes
Saw Biohazard, Dog Eat Dog and Downset at the Garage in 1994 my debut at the venue. I was but a youth, no security, stage diving encouraged. It was extremely vibrant. Link to comment
