This lazy thought always amuses me too. celtic and a team from Ibrox literally haven’t played each other in the Scottish cup final since 2001/02. Which is actually an incredible stat. there’s been more Celtic v Dunfermline finals since then. and of course, Aberdeen have only been in 1 final at all since then. 22 years ago. Class.
