Might  have been a blessing in disguise having the Dundee game postponed, players fully rested and Motherwell playing 3 days after their last game. No excuses of ‘tiredness’ etc. Last 30 minutes could be crucial if still at 0-0 then, couple of fresh subs and hit them hard.

There's no excuse really. 

Playing Saturday at 3pm followed by Tuesday at 3pm is more time between games than playing on a Wednesday night followed by Saturday at 3pm which is common practice.
